Fused glass light catchers workshop - Forest Row

Description

Design and create your own fused glass art. In this workshop you can design and create your own three glass light catchers. You can bring or create your own designs or be inspired during the workshop from the examples and images available in the class. I'll have a variety of shapes to create your light catchers with, all glass is cut to size so you don't need glass cutting skills for this. After the workshop, your glass work will be fired in the kiln and will be available for collection from my studio in Lingfield later the following week.

What's included in the price?

Price includes all materials and kiln firings, hot drinks and snacks - there are no additional costs.

I've always loved the colour and vibrancy of glass and began creating with fused glass in 2013. In 2014 I left my corporate career to work full time as a glass artist. Having trained as a teacher many years earlier it was a natural progression to begin offering workshops to others in early 2019. Many lovely groups of people have come together over the past few years to create glass art with me, with plenty of tea, coffee, snacks and chat - as well as those wonderful mindful periods when everything goes quiet, minds are clear and everyone is focused on their piece in the moment.
