Find your bliss in slow stitch with Sue Williams
Description
This slow stitch workshop is led by Sue Williams. Do you sometimes feel you must have a sewing needle in your hand? Or you just want to enjoy the stitching process just because you can? Slow stitching encourages the sewer to forget about achieving a perfect result and simply nurtures the idea of stitching for its own sake. It’s has a meditative quality allowing the stitcher to let the noise of the world fall away. If that sounds appealing come and join Sue for a workshop at Southlands. You'll go home with a sample of slow stitch and the understanding to continue at home. Ideal for beginners but sewers with intermediate skills can find their bliss too.
