Hello, I'm Sharon, an experienced sculpture & clay artist. I host fun and informal adult pottery sessions from my studio in the beautiful village of Heskin, Lancashire. The Class runs every day except Sunday & Mondays. It can be attended by up to 6 persons. The class is a great introduction to the fabulous world of clay hand building. We use coils of clay to make a fabulous clay pot by hand. You will be shown how to prepare, join & assemble the clay . We then show you various finishing details to make your creation unique. The class includes bisque firing ready painting with acrylics at home OR you may wish to return to the studio to glaze your creation. This is an optional extra, £15pp. The Crafty Potter studio is based within Heskin shopping Village, a unique retail and leisure destination featuring over 40 unique shops and businesses, With free parking we’re a perfect destination for you to make a great fun day out. The class makes a fabulous gift for all occasions.
