"Don’t get me wrong, this was a pleasurable day, very knowledgeable tutor and hands on, but would have liked a little more direction/training on which tool to use when and for what effect. Fine if you are an experienced woodworker, not great if you are a novice."

"Sally is a great teacher who has a lot of specialist knowledge in glass fusion. It is very interesting how small pieces of coloured glass can be put together to make such amazingly unique, colourful objects. Sally is very patient and friendly. She spends time with everyone allowing each person to be creative in 'their own way'. Would thoroughly recommend this course as it requires no previous knowledge and you end up with a beautiful object totally hand made by you and personal to you too. Sally teaches you all the skills you will need and provides all the materials too. The venue at Stanwick Lakes is just perfect for craft courses. Give it a try."

We were able to work at our own speeds with help from Jo when we needed it. Lovely results. I’m proud of my stained glass window and really enjoyed the process. "I really enjoyed the course. Jo is clearly very experienced in both knowledge and practice. She offered constant encouragement and suggestions for improvement. I'm a person who likes to ask questions to understand why things are done in a particular way and Jo answered them all! The barn was a lovely space. Plenty of tools and equipment and lots of choice of designs and glass. I made one piece during the day. This was my first time working with glass. I could possibly of made two pieces but wanted to practice the cutting until I was fully confident. Stanwick Lakes is a lovely venue - easy to find, lots of parking, a cafe and clean toilets! Thank you Jo."
