"We spent a very enjoyable two days with Stuart, learning the basics of woodturning. He was very willing to answer lots of questions and to pace the tuition to our individual needs. It was great to see an expert in action, to spend time in a real workshop, see all the tools he uses and get an insight into the creative process. An excellent weekend, thank you"

"I'd highly recommend learning wood turning with Stuart. We took our boys for a 2 day course and they both loved it . We also had fun watching what they were up to and learning more about it. It was great to see them try something they could not normally get to do, and to feel like Stuart was keeping them safe but also teaching them how to manage the risks themselves. Stuart was really patient and let the boys choose what they were interested in and adapted to them. They are 8 and 14, so with very different abilities, but both got something out of it and left really pleased with what they'd achieved - we now have a very beautiful cup, egg cup, goblet, spinning top and garden dibber! They are now bugging us to get the kit to do more at home! The setting is also very lovely and we enjoyed feeding the robins on our lunch break."
