"I spent considerable time researching potential teachers of colored pencil. Linda Hampson stood out as not only a wonderfully talented artist, but also an excellent teacher. I really enjoy Linda's explanations of why she does this or that and her repetition of critical aspects of drawing. Her approach is thoughtful, carefully filmed and fun! I would highly recommend any tutorial or workshop of Linda Hampson. It's fun to learn facts about her topics as well which are always included between drawing steps."

"Had a lovely time at this venue on the silversmith course with Julian Livingstone. Never worked with silver before. I produced a ring, bracelet, book marker. Great course for individuals or couples. Tracey was a great host your made very welcomed each morning with a hot beverage, the food was excellent, highly recommended"

"This course was my first time working with silver. The tutor, Julian Livingstone, is experienced and very patient giving individual help and advice where needed. Over the two days I produced a ring and a beautiful tea caddy spoon that I'll treasure. Our hostess, Tracey is always welcoming and attentive to everyone attending the courses."

"I attended a one day coloured pencil workshop with Linda Hampson at the Old Kennels in September 2021. It was a lovely day with teaching taking place in the barn and lunch outside in the gorgeous surroundings. It was obvious that great care had been taken to ensure that everything was Covid safe so the atmosphere was relaxed. I am new to coloured pencils and I learnt so much. The accompanying video is a great idea because you can practice what you learnt at home. I will be attending future workshops in 2022."

"Having taken a couple of Linda's 'in person tutorials', I was delighted that, during lockdowns, I was able to access her video courses - they have kept me going through these strange times, and it is so good to be able to revisit the videos when required. They have also encouraged me to move on to drawing other subjects. The notes, as ever, are excellent and I continue to enjoy my drawing immensely."

"I thoroughly enjoyed this course and definitely recommend it to anyone. I checked the link early and ordered a few pencils in and made sure I had some paper etc. around the house before I sat down to start. I spent a few hours on a rainy Sunday sketching in the company of the lovely tutor via pre-recorded video and I loved it. The course provides written instructions, extra details and the pre-recorded video that you can stop, rewind and re-play as many times as you need. I have never done anything quite like this and I was genuinely pleased with what I produced, even though I didn't think for one minute I would be. If you're not sure, just give it a go!"
