"Loved the 6 week life drawing course. I learnt so much on this course, trying new and exciting techniques. Jo is an excellent tutor - very talented, patient and inspirational. Would most definitely recommend this course, and others at the HSA. Looking forward to attending more in the future!"

Sharon reviewed: Storybook Paper Dresses - a one day Workshop with Jennifer Collier, at the Henley School of Art

"The studio at the Henley School of Art is a stunning location for a life drawing course. Jo Harris is an enthusiastic, motivating and funny teacher, full of insight and encouragement and puts everyone at their ease. I learnt so much on this course - each week has a different life model and covers a new aspect (body part/art medium) but graduates to an end point where the student has confidence in finding their own style and level of ability. We each received a folder on the first day in which to store Jo’s weekly comprehensive handouts and which also included a sketch book to practice in between classes. The refreshments are first class and the general ambiance is positive and delightful. I highly recommend Jo’s life drawing classes, whatever your ability."

Graham Barnes reviewed: Tuesday evening life drawing classes with Jo Harris: beginners & intermediate level (a 10 week course), at the Henley School of Art

"I attended Jo's life drawing classes both at Remenham and at her excellent studio at 30C Hart Street Henley on Thames. Jo runs a very good, could I say excellent, class with equal male and female models in her new building. Jo's enthusiasm is pervasive to all who attend and makes for a very enjoyable evening complete with refreshments and general happiness. I recommend to any aspiring artist."

Chris Cowley reviewed: Tuesday evening life drawing classes with Jo Harris: beginners & intermediate level (a 10 week course), at the Henley School of Art

"So good I've done it twice! Jo guides you through structured yet fluid learning, building your inmate skills by creating a solid foundation. You will learn at your own pace but and this is not a race but Jo will tease out your inner artist and get you to explore new avenues and mediums that will ensure you grow and your art improves. The studio itself is conducive to creativity with great lighting and interesting spaces. Her well stocked library will give you both reference and inspiration. The excellent models, convivial and relaxing yet focused atmosphere of the classes all conspire to assist your creative journey. Heartedly recommended. Chris"

Emma Tallent reviewed: Tuesday evening life drawing classes with Jo Harris: beginners & intermediate level (a 10 week course), at the Henley School of Art

"I signed up for Jo's guided life class last year after a friend had recommended it. It was based in sweet little local hall at the time, and from the minute I entered Jo and I hit it off - her boundless enthusiasm and upbeat style of teaching was a breath of fresh air, and I was transported back to my art college days, relaxing into the friendly atmosphere and letting that dormant creative side flow forth. I feel like I've been lucky enough to join Jo on her amazing journey of successfully creating the wonderful Henley School of Art in her new, beautifully appointed studio in the centre of town, with everything you could think of available to experiment and create new and interesting techniques. The models are great, as are the other students; Jo puts on a lovely selection of hot drinks and biscuits so we can mingle and chat half way through the class. I enjoyed it so much I signed up again for the same class, and am looking forward to progressing to one of the others next term. I couldn't recommend Jo and the Art School enough!"

James Basey reviewed: Tuesday evening life drawing classes with Jo Harris: beginners & intermediate level (a 10 week course), at the Henley School of Art

"Having attended many life drawing sessions over the years, both guided and unguided, I cannot recommend Jo's classes enough. Jo provides the perfect atmosphere for those of all abilities. As a beginner there are lots of opportunities to try new techniques and learn the basics. For the more experienced it's great to be able to work more independently depending on personal goals. There really is something for everyone!"

Helen Aitchison reviewed: Tuesday evening life drawing classes with Jo Harris: beginners & intermediate level (a 10 week course), at the Henley School of Art

"Having attended lots of different life drawing classes over the years I have to say Jo's classes top them all. Her taught course is particularly brilliant - we're trying out new things each week and I love just turning up with no equipment and seeing what's in store. The unguided drop-in classes are also brilliant - the models, the unobtrusive but energizing music, the venue, and even the tea and biscuits are all first class! And everyone is friendly, especially Jo. So refreshing to find a group of interesting people doing this kind of thing in Henley! Highly recommend!!"
