Caroline reviewed: Traditional Japanese Bookbinding

"A fun workshop with lots of materials available to complete your projects. Nina is a patient and thoughtful tutor who obviously loves her craft. I really enjoyed and look forward to learning more. The venue is easy to access and parking was easy and close by. Lovely light airy room with comfy seating. "

"Thank you Nina, I had a lovely relaxing morning learning and exploring a new art medium, You were helpful and encouraging sharing your knowledge of ink drawings and the effects of using ink on a range of papers. Your session was very interesting and sharing samples of your beautiful creative art work and projects was a pleasure to see. "

Ann Dawkins reviewed: Introduction to simple Ink Drawings

"Had a very relaxed few hours learning how to use inks with gradual mixing with water to adjust the tint intensity. Using different papers, inks and using permanent ink pens to give accent and detail. I was a complete novice and found that even I could end up with something worthy of a frame. Lovely relaxed time with Niña encouraging us all to give it a go and learn to play again. Loved the paper journals using "scrap" materials which are somehow less intimidating than pristine blank white sheets. Give it a go you will enjoy! "

Mina Katouzian reviewed: Introduction to simple Ink Drawings

"I attended the pen and ink workshop run by Nina. It was a lovely morning. Nina is always so well prepared and engaging. (I have done one of her other workshops in the past). It was a lovely venue, and Nina took us through the various stages step by step so we gained confidence by building up our skills gradually . It was a very peaceful and relaxing session. I am not particularly good at drawing or 'art' but Nina always makes learning so accessible by her well prepared classes and her positive and calm style. I definitely intend to attend other workshops by Nina in the future. "
