"The Introduction to Weaving course by Ashleigh Slater was brilliant.
I was introduced to different weaving patterns including reversed ones, there were all kinds of different colourful yarns to try which resulted in coming home with a finished collar. Highly recommended."
"Ashleigh is a great, steady tutor, really helpful and we covered a lot of ground in one day. I had a little experience picked up form books and the course has given me greater confidence to explore techniques and re-inspired me about the infinite possibilities of weaving and finding the way to techniques that suit what I hope to do the best"
Tartan Caledonia responded:
"Glad the course inspired you to start weaving again enjoy your loom and don’t be shy just shout if you need help."
"Excellent teaching from a recognised expert with first rate equipment and materials! I can spin, but was wholly unfamiiar with looms and weaving and hoped to discover whether this was something I could do. The craft was clearly explained and demonstrated and I was able to explore all the techniques & try them out.
I left with the knowledge I needed and access to reading and future advice. I would recommend this course to anyone considering weaving or new to it."
