"Wow, such a wonderful experience! I was gifted a full day lampworking course and I loved every second. Whilst I was a little daunted at how difficult it might be, Suzanne was an excellent teacher and really put me at ease, she was happy to show her techniques as many times as I needed and I really enjoyed chatting as we made beads in the studio. I ended up making tonnes of beads and trying a lot of techniques, will 100% be booking again, so much fun! Thank you xx"

"I booked this course as a gift for my daughter's 16th birthday. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Suzanne is absolutely lovely, her workshop is well equipped and such a lovely, inspiring space. My daughter said Suzanne was very patient and explained everything to her and she really enjoyed having a go at everything. She was so inspired by Suzanne and is desperate to do more! My daughter loved receiving all the beads in the post and was very enthusiastic telling me how she made each of them! I would definitely recommend doing the course, my daughter absolutely loved it!"

Suzanne is a great tutor, super-talented, very clear in her instructions and guidance and has set up a lovely studio to work in with quality equipment and materials. "Me and my partner did the 3 hour wkshop with Suzanne, something I’ve fancied trying for ages. We loved it! Suzanne was really clear with her demos and continued to be on hand at every stage when we had a go. She was v patient and happy to remind us what to do throughout. Her studio is lovely and comfortable to work in and her family were lovely when we invaded to use the loo! I really want to do this again, it’s quite addictive. We’ve just received our beads, which we were really chuffed with. She even included her demo beads for us too. Can’t recommend this highly enough. I’ve done quite a few workshops over the years using a variety of media. This tops them all, it was fab! Thank you Suzanne! X"

"I did a full day course with Suzanne and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although I've made some jewellery before this was a completely new technique for me. Suzanne took the time to demonstrate several bead making techniques and guided me through each process helping build confidence as we went along. She has a lovely teaching style as well as a wonderful well equipped workshop and a good supply of tea and biscuits too! "What a fabulous experience! I didn't know what to expect and was very impressed indeed. Suzanne is a natural teacher, she goes at an appropriate pace for the learner and everything feels very relaxed and controlled. She does not patronise and there is a huge selection of colours to choose from to enjoy your creativity. The studio is a lovely environment for learning and we both thoroughly enjoyed our morning. We will definitely be back and I can see myself returning regularly while in the area for further development in the skill. "What an amazing and enjoyable day exploring lampwork bead techniques with Suzanne. I didn't really know what to expect but I had bought some jewelry from Suzanne at an art fair and fancied treating myself to learning how to make beads. Suzanne is an excellent teacher and took me through the steps from creating a simple glass bead to making highly decorated beads. You don't need any experience of jewelry making so these workshops are perfect for beginners as well as more experienced makers. I found the lampwork process to be fascinating and engaging and Suzanne was very encouraging - I'll definitely be coming back for more! PS - the workshop was given to me as a present via gift voucher issued by Suzanne and I highly recommend it if you are looking for an unusual gift for someone who like to be creative."

"A friend's teenage daughter and I spent an absolutely brilliant morning with Suzanne, learning glass bead lampworking. We learnt far more than we anticipated we would, and the beads we produced were much prettier and more advanced than we expected! Suzanne is a brilliant teacher. She demonstrated and explained each step clearly and concisely, and answered all of our questions really helpfully. We felt as though we understood what we needed to do at all times, and under her caring watchfulness were able to execute and successfully create beads that are genuinely lovely! We found glass bead lampworking to be really compelling! You just want to carry on trying again, and learning more! It's meditative and satisfying - a lovely, creative treat. Our 3 hours with Suzanne flew, and both of us would love to go again to learn some more, and create some more beautiful beads. I have no hesitation in recommending Suzanne's workshops - you will have fun, learn, and be super pleased with yourself and what you have made at the end of it. It is a joy to be taught by Suzanne."

"I really cannot fault my day learning lamp working with Suzanne, it was fabulous! It absolutely exceeded any expectations I had before I went in! Suzanne was so lovely and really patient, I felt incredibly relaxed and encouraged as she took a lot of time to properly explain each bead-making technique that we would be covering throughout the course. I also felt that the format of her first demonstrating and then talking me through the same thing was very well done as I am a very much a visual learner! I progressed from making a simple bead to shaping my own heart bead toward the end of the day which I now cherish! I had my pick of any colours I'd like (there's so much choice!) and the time spent at the torch was utterly mesmerising. I've definitely found my new passion and I'm so grateful to have had an all-round great experience doing so! I felt very welcomed and safe in her studio and at ease to ask any questions I might have had. She also took the time to recommend how I might set up my own torch at home and even sent over resources to do so after the course - above and beyond! Overall an 11/10 day taught by a genuinely lovely person and skilled artist who clearly has so much knowledge to share! I would recommend this course to anyone! Thank you so much Suzanne :) "

"She must be one of the best at what she does, this is my 2 time doing this. So good being shown how to do things with glass and then try do it the same, tell how to do it better if you can it get it right first time . got some lovely work. she's helpful about what want to know about it, safe and gate neighbourhood where this is "
