"A thoroughly, informative, well structured, satisfying and useful workshop. Ady explained everything clearly. He was patient and together we produced a stunning product that I now have hanging at home. The quality of the finished frame was excellent and as good as you would ever get in a framing shop. Ady also provided morning coffee, biscuits and an excellent soup and roll for lunch. All in all, an excellent day. Thoroughly recommended for anyone starting out and wishing to frame for yourself or indeed as a launchpad to start a business. Thank you. "

"This is a fantastic experience from start to finish. Ady’s teaching style is to show you how to perform each required step with excellent precision and then you complete that on your own art work so that you have a completed mounted and framed item to take home with you. The set up is very welcoming with a super hot lunch served by the lovely Cathy. Not only that but full instructions are emailed out to you at the end of the day for future reference - this is such a nice touch and not one I have seen from any other course I have completed. "

"This was such an enjoyable and informative course. My husband and I didn't really know what to expect and on the way there were wondering how it could last 6 hours - now we know! There is a lot to learn and Ady took us patiently and expertly through each step until we had a professional looking (if we say so ourselves!) end product. We definitely had to concentrate but we enjoyed every minute and were buzzing from what we'd achieved and learned. It makes you realise how much work, skill, time and specialist kit is behind these crafts."

"A first class experience and a thoroughly enjoyable introduction to the skills required to frame a picture, regardless of its value. My daughter and I had no previous framing experience and we both left the day much wiser and very pleased with our handy-work, ably tutored and guided by Ady. i would thoroughly recommend a framing course with Ady who is a first class and very patient instructor. Thank you for an enjoyable and informative day. I now appreciate the hard work that goes in to framing even the simplest picture, done well it makes all the difference. A bit of bottom heavy is a great tip, do the course and you will find out what this means!!! "

Ady is an excellent teacher and guides you through the process of selecting your frames and mounts, preparing each with perfect accuracy then on to assembly including cutting the glass. But the day was so much more than that with Ady generously sharing his wealth of knowledge on everything framing. The pace was just right, the studio comfortable and 1-1 tuition. I cannot recommend this course with Ady highly enough for any one thinking about having a go at framing"

Working side-by-side with Ady as he made his own frame, and thanks to his careful instruction and demonstrations, I was able to make a frame that looks and feels very professional. I've come away confident that I can now make more frames on my own, once I've got some of the specialist tools needed. The day was very relaxed and well-paced with time to discuss many aspects of picture framing beyond the immediate task. The studio was very well set up and it was very helpful to be able to look at and discuss examples of Ady's own exemplary work during the day. Thoroughly recommended. "

" Ady's friendly and patient tuition as well as his enthusiasm in delivering the course, made for an enjoyable and rewarding time spent with him. Ady's guidance and easy to follow demonstrations of the techniques and the use of the equipment was first class and was done at your own pace. Nothing I put to him was too difficult, even the numpty questions were answered patiently and demonstrated to my level of understanding. Doing this course has enabled me to develop and improve my own framing techniques and finally been able to mount all my wife's cross stitch fabric's after years of 'earache'. Thank you Ady for a wonderful day and too Cathy for a smashing lunch. Cheers."

"I was given this course as a birthday present and I had a really lovely day with Ady. I finally managed to get a wedding picture in a frame (nearly four years after the event) and soo pleased with it. Ady is an excellent teacher and very patient, which is just as well as I am numerically dyslexic!! It was interesting to see all the various processes, there is a lot more to it than you would imagine. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting to know more about framing. Thank you Ady for a really great day."

"I recently spent the day with Ady at his studio in Norfolk framing a print I bought my daughter for Christmas. I'm not very technical minded but really wanted to see how one would go about framing a painting or print. Ady was a very patient teacher, he explained the different stages clearly and at a pace I could keep up with! Throughout the day his lovely wife Cath appeared with tea and biscuit breaks and aswell as lunch which kept our energy levels up for all the hard work! If you want to learn the basics of framing and mounting a painting or print this is an excellent starting off point. Ady kindly answered all my questions on the proccess and was happy to help with suppliers information as well. If I hadn't had to rush home to look after two toddlers I would have enjoyed spending a little more time practising and asking more questions. Although I still managed to walk away with a framed print and a load of new knowledge on the art of picture framing, a great day in my book!"

"I was very fortunate to be able to return to see Ady and his wonderfully equipped studio workshop. This time l had a canvas that l wanted to frame. This involved a few different techniques which Ady once again guided me through in his calm and reassuring manner. He gave me a few prompts as and when necessary but was also giving me the confidence to know that l should be able to order my own materials and give it a go on my own in the future!!"

Ady is an excellent tutor, working at the perfect pace to allow someone new to picture framing to take everything in and make notes, whilst maintaining a good momentum throughout the day. We came away with the confidence to have a go at home and enough enthusiasm to want to book further courses to hone our skills. Absolutely delighted with the frame I created on the day it gave new life to one of my Mother's paintings. I should also mention that the refreshments were top notch as well.
