"The Mosaic Course with Emily was fantastic. My friend and I chose to do a large wreath with bow. A fantastic range of mosaic tiles were ready for us to start using after a safety briefing and instruction on how to shape tiles. Lunch although described as light, turned out to be a choice of freshly home made soup, crusty bread (gf for me) as well as brownies, flapjacks, ginger cake and lemon drizzle cake all washed down with lot of tea or coffee. Emily was attentive when we needed advice, but otherwise allowed to get on. She was very encouraging. We finished early, but rather than going home Emily offered for us to make another small mosaic. We had travelled a long distance to the venue, but it was certainly well worth it."

"What a brilliant day! Emily was absolutely fantastic - the timings were perfect and it was great learning how to cut glass and arrange the pieces throughout the day. Emily was very helpful, kind and thoughtful throughout the day. The light lunch and cakes were lovely and made the day even more special. I would 110% recommend this to anyone and I can't wait to go back!"

"I have done several courses with Emily , and am always eager to book another . Her passion for mosaics is infectious , and her workshops are a joy to attend. She is an excellent teacher, patient and encouraging . I will definitely be back for another and would throughly recommend - you won’t be disappointed and a homemade soup lunch and wonderful home bakes are an added bonus ! Thank you Emily."

"I got this course for my wife and I as a birthday present and it was just perfect! Emily was very informative and took the time to ensure that all participants of the course were supported with their creative vision and gave insight into how would be best to achieve their vision. The hospitality of Emily and her husband was amazing and all of us were fed and watered throughout. Overall it was an incredibly fun day! I would recommend this course for beginners if you want a taste and would also say this is a good fun day for someone with experience to make something a little different. "

"A lovely day with a lovely instructor. Emily was so friendly and welcoming and I think all of us on the course really enjoyed our day. Doing a mosaic was a new experience for me and I now definitely want to do more. Would very much recommend this course. I went on my own and although I didn’t know anyone, it was so friendly and I felt really at ease and thoroughly enjoyed my day."

The choice of materials provided was amazing - lots of styles and colours to choose from to help create the mosaic. A very friendly and fun environment to learn in. "I highly recommend taking a day class in mosaics with Emily if you are looking for a relaxing but rewarding day learning a new skill. Emily was a very warm, welcoming host who made the day of learning good fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Emily was brilliant at helping everyone in the group in spite of us working at different paces. Really nice, small group environment and I have to say that the home made refreshments were delicious! "

"This being my second course with Emily, the day was once again so enjoyable. Emily is patient, encouraging and warmly hospitable. Whilst I struggled at times with the time element to finish my project, Emily kept me going with advice and practical help so I didn't get disheartened. Her refreshments are so tasty and healthy and as she sits and chats with us, the whole atmosphere is friendly and fun! A thoroughly satisfying day and now I look forward to my butterfly brightening up a blank wall. Thank you again Emily."
