"I attended Soapology for the full day One to One Introduction to Cold Processed Soap course in April to gain additional knowledge on Natural Soaps for my business (I sell Soaps and Bath Treats). The whole day totally exceeded all my expectations. Informative, educational and completely enjoyable. Each stage was excellently delivered by Emma in a friendly but competent manner, no question was too silly to ask or repeat (sorry). I am a complete beginner and I'm not a craft person at all but even I didn't struggle. I left with Four soap loaves safely tucked away in my boot, which, after curing, I can't wait to try. Patchouli and orange, May Chang and Lemon Swirl, Pine and Lime Swirl and Peppermint and Lemon Layered. I will definitely be booking the Advanced course in the very near future, once I've put into practice all I learned on the day. Highly recommended."

"I really enjoyed the basic course that Emma took us through. The course was split, with theory in the morning and practical in the afternoon. A course designed not to be complicated but enough to allow you to make more soap the correct way in the comfort of your home. I'm sure after practice I'll be considering a more advanced course. "Had a wonderful day with Emma on her soap making course, this is something I have been wanting to do for years! She gave us a excellent hand out & talked us through it explaining all the science & calculations while still keeping our interest. After all the theory, cake & lunch we got down to the actual making of soap. With help & guidance from Emma we all made 3 batches of soap, giving us the opportunity to try different colours, essential oils & effects. I would recommend this course to budding soap makers & as well as people who just want to have a fun day trying out a new craft. Emma also runs more advanced courses, which I will be back to learn some more."

"This was a lovely day, Emma was encouraging and supportive. The morning session was very informative, although I am not sure I totally understood the maths involved!! The afternoon was great as I got to make 3 batches of soap. It was great to use the different essential oils and other ingredients and Emma encouraged us all in using her stock. "For my Birthday my children gave me a Soapology Voucher, I attended a full day course last Saturday at Emma's Studio in Farndon and had an absolutely brilliant day. Emma has a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about her craft, her patient and encouraging teaching style made it easy for me to learn and understand so much about the art of soap making during the day, along with the three batches of soap which I made, we were also given course notes to take home, these will be very useful for referral in the future. I treated myself to a 'kit' too so that I can make more soap this week (already thinking of new fragrance combinations). Emma provide a super lunch and offered lots of refreshments during the day. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone. Thank you Emma, hope to see you again soon."

"Went on the intensive soap making course on 29.1.16. Emma was lovely and the theory part of the day was very informative. After having a delicious lunch we started the soap making part of the day. It was very exciting to see the soap making process progress from simple ingredients. I was able to make my own recipes from the massive choice of ingredients that Emma had that I could choose from. It was a great day and I would recommend this course."

"I had an amazing day learning how to make soap yesterday at Colwick Hall! Emma was so welcoming and a great teacher. She was patient in answering all of our questions and thoroughly explained everything. Refreshments were provided for us and after the morning session which was theory based, we were treated to a lovely lunch. Then the fun! In the afternoon we started to make the soap. Everyone looked like they were having a great time, especially when they got to the colour and additive section. Choosing the 'toppings' and additives was my favourite part. Emma again was really patient with me when I changed my mind about what I wanted on top of one of the soaps and she helped me to make the most of our time. We made three batches of soap all together to take home. I would love to come back and this time bring my mum. It was a great day full of delicious smells and I would thoroughly recommend it. "A packed day full of interesting information about a lovely product, had lots of fun deciding on my own special soap unique to me as every batch is totally different. All aspects of soapmaking were covered and this information was available to take home along with the soap you made on the day. Lots of support from all the team at Soapology with nothing being to much trouble. The day included a lovely lunch with plenty of tea/coffee or water to drink throughout the day. I would recommend this course to anyone. Thank you Emma and all your team for a great day."

"I had a very special day with Emma on a 121 course. Firstly just being in Emma soap work room is a pleasure. It smells amazing and it is full of wonderful, colourful soap. The first part of the day was spent understanding the process. Emma is an excellent teacher and easily answered all my questions. The afternoon was then spent making soap itself with such a good understanding from the morning. I really enjoyed mixing, measuring, picking perfume and choosing colours. Finally I went home with loads of my own soap! Emma is kind, generous and lots of fun. It was a brilliant day and I'd highly recommend it."

"This was a very interesting day, with lots of soap making fun. The tuition was expertly executed, and a very informative Soapology folder of the history of soap, and how it's made. It also includes recipes and tips for you to make soap at home. We had a break for a lovely 2 course lunch and plenty of coffee, tea and biscuits available all day. "I had an amazing 1:1 soaping day with Emma. I had watched endless soap making youtube clips but nothing prepared me for the wonderful experience of actually making it myself (with lots of guidance from Emma lol). The day began with learning about soap which Emma made very interesting, going through the lye calculator was tricky (thank god I wasn't on my own) but Emma was great and explained everything. After lunch we made lots of wonderful soap, I also created my own recipe and then made my own creation!! I loved my day which my husband bought me for my birthday, it was interesting, fun and inspiring, afterward I even bought Emma's soap making kit so I could go home and use my new knowledge and make more SOAP!! ha ha. It was an amazing day that I thank my husband for but mainly I thank Emma."
