"I had a really great day learning about the art of cold process soap making. Emma is very thorough and imparts a great deal of knowledge and experience. The course provides a very clear step-by-step guide, with the theory in the morning and then the pratical in the afternoon, and is the perfect introduction into the world of soap making. Overall all, a very relaxed and informative day."

"My son and I had a very enjoyable day at Soapology,the morning is spent learning about the history and theory behind cold process soap making,followed by lunch. The afternoon session begins with Emma’s demonstration,then you get to be creative making your own soap,there were plenty of choices to add colour and fragrance to the soap,we made 3 batches of soap to take home. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere and a great day Thankyou Emma Sue and Adam"

"My friend and I decided that instead of buying birthday pressies we would do an activity together. The Soapology one day course was brilliant. We are both complete beginners Emma was great going through all the science and health and safety aspects of soap making.She gave good examples to explain the complicated stuff which really clarified the process.After lunch it was all hands on soap making and soon we were trying different essential oils and making different designs and textured soap. Very good value for money Detailed teaching and a takeaway handbook with everything you need to know to make your own soap. And at the end of the day you take home the soap you have made which in our case was three containers of sweetly fragranced soap each. Lunch was provided and Emma had catered for us as veggies. Would strongly recommend this course we had a lovely day and met some very nice people on the course."

"My mum and i went to the group course and thoroughly enjoyed it! During the morning session Emma went through the science & safety side of soap making. After a delicious lunch, Emma demonstrated how to make soap, using the cold process method, then we got to make 3 batches of soap, using different essential oils and natrual colours. It was a brilliant day all round. Highly recommended course for other budding soap makers."

"Had a lovely day with Emma, which has now given me the confidence to do lots of my own experiments in creating my own soap. The day was very informative and well structured. "An interesting and insightful day of what goes into soap making. The workshop struck the right balance between the theory aspect which was an overview of Science, Maths and the Creative side and then the practical part of actually making up our own soap. It was quite fun in choosing our own ingredients such as colour, essential oils and herbs. I purchased the starter pack and will be looking forward to adding my own additives and creating pretty patterns! Emma was lovely and welcoming which makes all the difference in learning. The day left me with lots to think about for potential ideas. I would recommend this workshop for anyone who wants to get a taste of this subject before they actually commit."

"My Colleague Joyce and I, were really pleased with the excellent 121 Soap Making Course session we attended on 14th April 2018. We have both attended other soap making courses. However, Emma's course is the best that we have attended !!! As soon as you enter the lovely Soap Studio you are made to feel welcome, the scent of the lovely essential oils, immediately puts you at ease. Emma, takes the time to provide a comprehensive introduction into Soap Making, which is really insightful. The amount of information provided during the course is invaluable. Emma's generosity is evident throughout the day, not only in terms of the excellent accompanying handout, including soap recipes, but also the range of soaps we were able to make. We thoroughly enjoyed the creative process of making soap it was a lot of fun. Emma's patience, her willingness to share her knowledge, and the quality of the content of the training we received, is what sets Soapology Studio, apart from other Soap Schools. Emma, has has a passion for soap, and a passion for people. The encouragement and support we received, just left me feeling very grateful. If you are looking for a creative day out, or have a desire to start a soap business - I would encourage you to attend a course with Emma. You will not be disappointed. "A really good course. The morning's theory made so much sense when we were let loose with materials in the workshop during the afternoon. There were 6 on my course, the maximum that Emma has, but we were all able to make 3 batches of soap, learn from what others were doing and never felt out of our depth. I'm so pleased with what I have achieved - even the batch with the difficult to use thyme scent. I was really impressed with what was included in the starter pack and have lots of ideas for batches 4 - 7! Thank you."

"Had an awesome day with Emma yesterday learning all about the science, maths and creative side of soap making! She's a brilliant teacher and I loved the whole day, lunch was lovely and the practical session in the afternoon was flawless. We all left with big smiles, 2 containers of soap which I'm dieing to cut up today, a freebie and a booklet with everything from the day in it so we can repeat the process at home. I purchased a starter kit at the end of the day for a very reasonable price and can't wait to get stuck in! Thanks for a great day Emma!"

"Had a great day learning how to make soaps with Emma. Very welcoming group and a nice atmosphere. Emma took us through the theory in the morning and answered all questions we had ...lots of lovely cuppas offered great hospitality. After a delicious lunch we then went to the studio where Emma creates her magic. She spent time in turn taking us through step by step the basics of soap making. Very attentive seeing to all of us In turn also helped us to learn to blend the oils. Came away with two lovely batches of great smelling soap and lots of information. I purchased the follow on kit so I could make a few further batches at home. Good value great knowledge and great time had totally recommended. Loved the day and the soap!!!"

"Husband and I had a truly enjoyable day at Soapology. Emma is a fantastic host and is obviously passionate about her soap making. The morning was spent learning about soap which Emma kept very interesting and answered any questions (regular refreshments offered). A delicious lunch was then provided before heading into the workshop for the fun part :) there were five of us on the course and Emma was very patient in taking us through each step of the soap making process advising on which essential oils work well together and the correct way to blend all ingredients. We made three batches each that we got take home. We also took a starter pack each. Thank you Emma for a fantastic day we thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and learnt so much!"

"Big thanks to Emma for a soaptastic day! Interesting, informative and thoroughly enjoyable. I was nervous about the maths and chemistry and working with lye but Emma made it really clear. Great to go home with a guide I will refer to again and again. The first half of the course was the necessary theory, then after a tasty lunch, we experimented with fantastic oils, butters and techniques and came out with varied soaps I'd happily pay a lot for in a shop! Not bad for a first try. Can't wait to try my own recipes with more confidence. Overall, I can't recommend this course highly enough for anyone interested in natural soap making."

"This is a really good course. The first half of the day is theory and lots was learnt. A really nice lunch with a good discussion. The afternoon was spent creating three batches of soap (and thats a lot of soap!). Lots of fun and experimentation getting different smells etc. Emma is clearly an expert and the course ran smoothly. We have just taken our soap out of the moulds twenty four hours after the course and its now drying - you get to learn all of this. We also purchased a kit from Emma that will allow us to make a batch under our own steam."

"I attended Soapology for the full day One to One Introduction to Cold Processed Soap course in April to gain additional knowledge on Natural Soaps for my business (I sell Soaps and Bath Treats). The whole day totally exceeded all my expectations. Informative, educational and completely enjoyable. Each stage was excellently delivered by Emma in a friendly but competent manner, no question was too silly to ask or repeat (sorry). I am a complete beginner and I'm not a craft person at all but even I didn't struggle. I left with Four soap loaves safely tucked away in my boot, which, after curing, I can't wait to try. Patchouli and orange, May Chang and Lemon Swirl, Pine and Lime Swirl and Peppermint and Lemon Layered. I will definitely be booking the Advanced course in the very near future, once I've put into practice all I learned on the day. Highly recommended."
