"I spent a lovely day with Sally yesterday. As a newcomer to jewellery making I learned a lot about Argentium silver and I made a very pretty bracelet with charms, which impressed my friends. Sally was very clear in her instruction and guidance and gave me every opportunity to "have a go" myself. She was very friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience relaxing yet productive. "I had a lovely 1:1 day with Sally. Having a bit of silversmithing experience, I was interested to learn how to work with this very different silver alloy, and as this is Sally’s speciality, the day achieved just that. Having learnt to anneal, fuse and clean Argentium, I feel much better prepared to start on my own project. Sally was friendly and flexible, and the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed. Generous and delicious refreshments, although I was too full after the sandwich and salad to try the cakes! Easy to find, easy to park, great communication with Sally throughout, and very good value."

"What a fantastic course! We have just done our first week and Sally has done a fantastic job of getting us started. She explained to us the properties of Argentium and how it differs to Stirling Silver and then taught us how to fuse the silver. We then got to practice this and then once we were comfortable make a ring to our size. Sally explained to us the calculations to get the right length of silver to make a ring to our sizes, and then how to tidy up the joint if it wasn't the neatest :) She's very knowledgeable and we are really looking forward to learning the other techniques and continuing to practice/play over the next 5 weeks. Thank you again Sally !"
