"I bought this course as a Xmas gift for my husband. We both attended and we had a really great day. Rosanna is a really good teacher telling us about the different types of leather, basic material required, hand stitching and machine sewing method, where to provide the required items if we wanted to continue... She had prepared examples of objects we could make, suggesting we would be able to do 4/5 during the day. She is full of ideas to help you personalize everything really making it feel special. We ended up making 2 card holders, a wallet, a purse, a pencil case and a tray. For his last item my husband was able to go off the list and make a sleeve for his laptop fully home made! He was very proud of himself, best xmas gift ever! Thank you Rosanna."

"I contacted Rosanna about helping me construct a pattern and teach me the skills needed to sew a heavy duty canvas and leather tote bag. Having never used a sewing machine before I was a bit apprehensive of whether or not I'd be able to produce a good product, Rosanna was such a good teacher, I never felt out of my depth. Everything was explained very well, and when the bag started coming together I was so happy with how it turned out! I have come away from the course with much more confidence about making these bags in the future. After we finished the bag we had some time remaining so Rosanna helped me hand tool a leather notebook holder and knife sheath. Hand tooling leather wasn't something I was originally interested in but after learning the skills I now have some products I can make using scraps of leather I have left over! I am so chuffed to bits with what I've gained from the course and it was certainly worth every penny! Thanks Rosanna!"

"I wanted to know more about working with leather and decided to book a place on the one day "Make your own bag" workshop. I'm so glad I did. Rosanna is a wonderful teacher and full of knowledge. You work at your own speed and don't feel rushed at all. You can ask a thousand and one questions and in between "tea on demand" and lots of chat I came away knowing so much more and with a determination to come back for a second course. I made a beautiful bag which I love, love, love! It's stunning and so much better and more professional looking than I could ever have imagined. Thank you so much!"

There are many resources on the Internet which acts like a "tutor". However, what valuable is experience, especially with the fact that different people have different difficulities in learning a thing. "What a great way to spend a morning with my teenage son. We both enjoy making things and courses are excellent for learning about a craft. The half-day course with Rosanna certainly exceeded my expectations. I wanted to make myself a leather wallet, learn saddle stitching and enjoy time with my son. All three outcomes were achieved with Rosanna's highly effective teaching and positive personality. She quickly adapted to what we both wanted and offered clear and helpful advice. Her tuition was easy to follow and the results achieved were more professional than I would have thought possible. I would happily attend another one of her workshops and highly recommend her to those who want to learn how to make leather goods in a positive, enjoyable and very friendly environment."

"Rosanna is an excellent teacher and host and the environment and facilities for the workshop are great. I went along with a pre-planned idea of what I wanted to do and after being taught how to set out a stitch a card holder, Rosanna was only too happy to get the card out and start making a completely new template for what I wanted to do. However, it wasn't just done for me and I was encouraged and helped to produce the template to do my project. At the end of the day, I produced three items that I am quite proud of and although I went up to the wire at the end of the day to get completed, there was never any hint of needing to get a move on. I would highly recommend the experience and I shall be buying some tools to do some work for myself too!"

"*Genuinely Great Day - Highly Recommend for all levels* From booking the course to answering queries and reminders after completion, Rosanna was really helpful, personable and attentive. Booking the course was easy and pain free (not like other courses I have previously tried to book on), correspondence and directions to the venue were easy to follow, coherent and accurate. Location was great, a studio workshop full or exciting tools, inspiration and examples of previous work. The best environment to get those creative juices flowing! The course itself was really informative. Rosanna shared tricks of the trade, best practice, offered advice on how to do what I had previously been doing in a safer and less time consuming way. I really did learn a lot about what I had previously been doing and what I was going to do. Rosanna tailored the course to my experience and the learning's were relevant to what I wanted to achieve from the day. Continues tea and biscuits along with a home prepared lunch kept me fuelled for the day. I left innovated, inspired and excited about the things I had made and cant wait to put learnings into practice! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the course for all levels as it can be tailored to strengths, wants and needs."

"I'd give this course 6 stars if I could! Rosanna is a superb tutor and this day flew past, leaving me with tons of knowledge and new skills and a handful of leather items that look professionally made - friends were stunned to hear I'd made them that day with my own hands! I couldn't recommend Rosanna and this course highly enough. I turned up at her studio in Kent with no experience with leather at all, and have gone away with the ability to make hand-stitched items at home, and experience with sewing leather on an industrial machine too. The course covered cutting, gluing, lining, adding rivets and fastenings, tools and suppliers too, and all with good insights and great conversation. If you have any interest in leather, or just like making stuff, then give this course a go, you won't be disappointed!"

"For anyone considering taking the 2 day bag making course I would definitely recommend it! I enjoy learning new skills whenever possible, I have been on many courses for a variety of experiences, but this course has made my top 3 due to being such a personalised experience. From the start, the syllabus was not only about how to construct a bag, but focused on how to bring to life something from my imagination, with the strategical knowledge and enlightenment of a professional who could think around potential pitfalls and be creatively involved with me. I think this approach is extremely successful as by joining in & discussing all options with Rosanna, I was able to better understand the mechanics of making a bag. Not only do I feel confident enough to practice a project by myself, I feel confident to make other items that we didn't create, purely because I was taught me more than just a baseline template, Rosanna taught me the intelligence behind the shapes and the development sequence. By the end of the day we had made a wonderful set of unique leather gifts for each other which will be a lovely reminder of a brilliant day. Rosanna is a very good teacher and made us feel instantly at home, in fact at lunchtime the whole family made us feel very welcome as we sat and chatted over delicious homemade quiche.
