"As a beginner to sharpening tools, this was a great day, but I think it is also suitable for more experienced people as there was a wide range of skill levels on the course and all were catered to. Definitely worth bringing lots of your own tools as you leave with lots of new skills but also all your tools sharp. I really appreciated being shown the manual and machine way of sharpening so you know all the options and can choose how you want to do it yourself. It's a beautiful setting where the course is run and coffee and cake was a lovely addition. "

"Fantastic course. Peter is a great teacher. "Just had a great day at Peter's inspiring workshop.. There is definitely a knack to sharpening tools which is best gained by physical attendance on one of Peters workshops. With his expert knowledge, we were guided through the sharpening processes. Lots of time to “hone” our skills with support and guidance as need. I took my leather working tools so had its own challenges. I’m delighted with the results and will forever have sharp tools. Would I recommend? YES I would."

"This was an incredible course, jam packed with hands-on making, tools and information, but also the opportunity to make your own unique table / stool design which you take away with you at the end of the 2 days. Even with a wide range of learners and previous skills and experience, we all made quality pieces to take home. Peter is so knowledgeable and a wonderful tutor - very attentive, interested, kind and patient. Also, his apprentice Toby is a real asset to the course and workshop - such a knowledgeable and skilled young man who supports course participants throughout their time as well. You really are in good hands in this course, and I couldn't recommend it to anyone enough. Looking forward to going back in the new year some time for steam bending and more making!"

"Wow, what an amazing two days! Whether you have any experience with wood or none at all, you will have a great time! It is a great course and you learn alot but I also had alot of fun, in stunning surroundings and with lovely people also there to make it a great experience. Its a great sensory experience too with the smell of the wood and the feel of it too. We had sunny and rainy points but the course is so well set up, we were able to work and enjoy whatever the weather, which was geat and relaxing too. So I loved it. There is always help at hand so I felt able and confident. Really highly recommend it and cant praise Peter and his intern Toby enough."
