"Absolutely brilliant day with two knowledgeable, friendly and engaging instructors. I learned so much and it really sparked my interest in doing more blacksmithing in future. Seven students was the perfect group size for plenty of one on one assistance, but a lively, buzzing atmosphere. A good lunch was included where we sat around a big table and got to know each other better. Overall, a lovely experience that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks so much Jessica and Tim!"

"My husband and I recently did this workshop and all I can say is WOW! We had such a great day, Jess and Tim were fantastic! Super supportive, really knowledgeable and so encouraging! I’ll be honest this was the first time I’ve lifted a hammer, and to be fair ached the next day! But as a female I was super proud of myself! "My husband did this course on 20/04/24 and thoroughly enjoyed it. He says it was hard work and very intensive but very enjoyable and worthwhile. He made a beautiful decorative poker of which he is very proud, and rightly so. He says the 2 people running the course were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Five stars all round!"

"The blacksmithing experience was thoroughly enjoyed by the 4 of us, a day we'll never forget. Tim and Jessica were great, very thorough explanations and demonstrations of what to do. They're both incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We were kept well supplied with hot and cold drinks throughout the day, food was catered for by a little food place in the next village and was really good, especially the cakes. By the end of the day we'd all produced a fancy fire poker using many different blacksmithing techniques. Left at the end of the day wanting to do more! Would recommend this to anyone! 5 Star!"

"The snow melted enough for the course to go ahead and we had a great day. Tim was a very informative instructor and demonstrated all the stages clearly and logically from fire lighting and management to all the blacksmithing techniques needed to make our fabulous pokers. Jess was very supportive and offered sound additional blacksmithing advise along the way and was a very hospitable host. We were supplied with tea, coffee, pork pie, lunch and cakes. Perfect. We definitely recommend this day. Thank you. "

"It was a great day. Exceeded my expectations, Tim was a brilliant tutor, very patient and explained and demonstrated everything fully so that you felt confident to try for yourself. Full experience of building a fire, fire and heat control, recognising when the work was ready and some of the techniques were well explained. The people were very friendly and the food and drink excellent. I would recemmend this day to everyone."

"My son had 2 days at the anvil with Jessica. He throughly enjoyed both days. Jessica explained everything to him really well. Showed my son different techniques to twist, bent and move the iron. My son made a beautiful candle holder, knife, BBQ fork and Neil (a snail). My son can't wait to be back. ( He also loved the lunches provided). Thank you for an amazing experience :-)"

"We had an excellent day at Peak Blacksmithing, Jess was a great tutor, showing us the whole process from lighting the forge, using the tools then through the different techniques to make a toasting fork. There was a relaxed atmosphere with Jess not far away to help if needed. With no previous experience of blacksmithing I thoroughly enjoyed my day and would recommend Peak Blacksmithing to anybody!??"

Even if you're not that practical you'll be carefully guided to make something to be proud of and if you are, the world's your oyster as to what she can have you making!
