"This was my 2nd time visiting Paul's workshop having previously done the 2 day stained glass course. This time I treated myself to the fused glass day for my birthday. It was a fab day shared with another 3 ladies. Paul is a great tutor as he is very thorough with his teaching and very patient with his students. I loved the day. Very relaxed, lots of tea and I now have a lovely piece of original artwork hanging in my home which reminds me of a beautiful Scottish beach which is significant to our family. "My wife and I spent a wonderful day in the beautiful surroundings of Paul's home/studio. Paul is a talented and patient teacher, explaining not only HOW things are done but, just as importantly, WHY they should be done that way. In addition to unlimited use of a great selection of materials, we also received a copious supply of hot drinks, and even lunch. Don't worry if you have never done anything like this before - Paul is very patient, and will allow you to work at your own pace, giving you guidance if required. At the end of the day you will have completed a glass item that you will be proud of, which Paul will fuse in the kiln, and send on to you (or arrange for you to collect) within a few days (we can't wait to see our finished items). Once again, thank you Paul for a very enjoyable and informative day."

"Fantastic 2 day experience learning the basics of stained glass. Paul was a great teacher allowing you to learn and progress without pressure but knew when to offer support. I made a piece I thoroughly enjoyed making and will enjoy for long time to come. I'd advocate the course to anyone with an interest. You do not need to be artistic to enjoy this. Paul gave lovely welcome and hosted with fun anecdotes and interesting conversation throughout our 2 days. I want to do it all again."

"A really unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience! I actually made a stained glass window in 2 days! And I am so pleased with it and delighted I have learnt these skills - the whole process of lead light making was fascinating! But it's not just the making - it's the whole experience. The place is in the middle of beautiful countryside, so tranquil and Paul is a great tutor. He is very patient, supportive and really knows his stuff - fascinating to talk to him about his lead light work. He makes the course easy for everyone due to the very structured programme and we all came away with beautiful creations. 4 people seems perfect as we all had such a laugh and got on so well - all lovely people and a fantastic and very satisfying experience! I will be back again, hopefully, to make Christmas decorations!"
