"Lovely day with Nik based in her fabulous workroom looking out over stunning Lakeland views. Her instruction was very clear and she was on hand to give help with ‘hiccups’ and suggest tweaks to improve the finished product. By the end we all had several pieces ready to be fired and enough information to be able to continue with lace patterning using air dry clay at home. Highly recommended. "

"Would certainly recommend a course with Nik. Due to Covid, I was extremely lucky to have a one-to-one, as the other participants had to postpone to a later date. Nik is very thorough, explains everything well and is happy to answer any questions, or suggest alternatives - just what you need when trying out a new craft. I managed to make several pieces and decorated them ready for firing. Can't wait to see how they turn out! If you are thinking of trying porcelain clay modelling, this is the course for you - excellent!"

"My sister and I really enjoyed the lace pattern porcelain course with Nik. She was very welcoming and professional. As all materials were provided, all we had to do was watch, learn and create our own pieces! Tea / coffee and cakes were provided whilst we were busy working away on our creations! "Fabulous day run by Nik. All materials were provided along with passion and enthusiasm for the craft. Nik is an excellent teacher, who enjoys sharing her knowledge, hints and tips. Small group meant Nik was easily able to demonstrate porcelain techniques to us all whilst also providing individual attention when needed. We each made several fabulous pieces which where left for firing to then be collected/posted. Definately recommend this course."
