"I joined Denise for the one day curtain making course last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. As the only student I had Denise’s undivided attention and benefitted hugely from her wealth of experience. I hadn’t made curtains before but Denise’s calm, clear and relaxed method of teaching boosted my confidence and by the end of the day I had produced a professional looking lined curtain. I still can’t believe I made it myself (with a little help from Denise!) and am now looking forward to making curtains for my own home, armed with the skills Denise imparted as well as the notes I took on the day. Thank you again Denise, I really enjoyed the day and it was excellent value for money."

"I have little sewing experience but I managed to learn how to make a professional looking curtain, Denise was an excellent teacher who was clear, concise and very patient. She showed me how to measure a window at different points to making each part of the curtain step by step and on a one to one basis. She welcomed me into her home and made me feel very relaxed and competent. I cant wait to start making curtains for my own home. Totally recommend this course for anyone starting out and wanting to learn how to make a basic curtain or just learn something new"

"I booked this course for my daughter and myself and it was great. I have sewn before but my daughter is a complete novice but we both finished the day with a completed made to measure lined curtain with a weighted hem and pleated top. Despite us having differing levels of ability the course satisfied both our needs. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to make curtains. "I had a wonderful day that was very informative and easy to understand with a lovely teacher who was very patient with me. I hadn't made curtains before and not touched a sewing machine since I was at school, ( which was a long time ago). I was taught how to measure a window properly before starting to make the curtain, then I was taught step by step how to make a pencil pleat curtain from start to finish and was very pleased with the result. I am now looking forward to making my own curtains for my new home.
