"I had a lovely morning with Ali Soper, making my mosaic heart. Ali is very easy to get on with and I didn't feel under pressure to get things right (or not get anything wrong!). Her summerhouse is a relaxing place and the atmosphere was positive and peaceful. I learned how to cut tiles, design my shapes and glue everything in place. I am really pleased with the final result, especially as I was a total beginner."

"What a great way to spend a day. Ali is a very supportive teacher and provides a welcoming atmosphere. Having a small group size of 4 is just right for everyone to have the help they need especially as we were all beginners. Plenty of tea/coffee and cake and also lots of laughter! I was very pleased with my mosaic mirror and had a wonderful time sifting through the bits of china. Thanks for a lovely day."

"Wow, what a fabulous day I had with Ali in her most beautiful garden room. It was like walking into Aladdin cave. The materials we had to use were wonderful. I was a total beginner and Ali made sure I enjoyed my day and I felt like an expert when I left. The amount of knowledge Ali has is amazing. I loved the whole day and hope to return in the spring. It was a very special day that I will remember for ever and it has given me a boost at this time of year. P.s the homemade cake and flapjack 👍 proper job. "

At no point did I feel stuck as the small class means you get lots of attention and really feel fully supported. Being in the peace and beauty of Ali's garden room was also really calming. "Well, what a fabulous long morning we had with the lovely Ali. This was the first time that I had attended a workshop of any kind and looking for something to do with my granddaughter this workshop jumped out at us. Along with a very good friend and her daughter we spent the morning as complete novices with Ali. Firstly we were given the safety talk and then we were off. Multiple choices of resources were to hand from recycled china, tiles, sea glass to name a few. Ali was there to guide and encourage and give constructive advice, and there were many fabulous examples of her own work on the walls to get inspiration from, so much so that I will definitely be booking again as there is so much more I want to try. Thank you Ali, and by the way, the cake was out of this world! "
