"The kit was really good and the instructions were extremely clear and I think really good value for money. For a first time mosaic-er I found it a breeze and the result was great too. Fab for beginners and simple enough for children (8+?) too - they would need a level of co ordination though. I would recommend it. Perhaps you could consider a staged approach - this as level 1 and then perhaps a level 2 and even perhaps 3 and that may get us ready for in person complicated projects.... just a thought. I really enjoyed it. Thanks"

"Adela was great to work with and created a lovely relaxing, fun and enjoyable environment. I enjoyed her introduction to mosaics giving information about different styles and techniques and information about the different materials that can be used. She also had great patience when it came to the practical side giving good instructions to both myself and my son aged 11 years enabling us to take home a professional looking piece of Mosaic art at the end of the session. I really enjoyed her course and would definitely recommend it to anyone to try and I’m looking forward to doing another course on my return to Devon/Cornwall."

"I attended this course with my partner and we had the best time! Everything is provided, from materials to refreshments to Covid ppe. Adela is a great teacher and the whole thing was fun, informative and relaxed. My partner was so into it he barely even touched the refreshments on offer and had to be forcibly dragged to lunch - something that is basically unheard of! I cannot recommend this highly enough."

"I had a brilliant time on the all day mosaic tiling course, the time flew by. Adela provided a warm welcome so I was immediately at ease. She is an excellent tutor giving lots of encouragement on our projects. She started by talking through a helpful worksheet, demonstrating how to cut tiles, providing helpful tips and then we were let loose on our projects. The main thing I discovered was that the mosaic tiling is very tricky! I will definitely be back to do one of her other courses."

"I’ve just had the most inspiring day learning basis mosaic skills with the incredibly talented Adela. The studio is adorned with a stunning selection of her work, it’s bright, airy and completely set up to be a covid safe environment while remaining a comfortable and welcoming place to be. With just myself and one other student there was ample work space and I felt safe and relaxed, a rare feeling during this pandemic! Adela is a fantastic tutor giving clear instructions and information from her wealth of knowledge and is really approachable when asking questions etc. You can expect to leave this course feeling relaxed and inspired with a mosaic to take home and a desire to make more! I can’t recommend this course highly enough and I really hope there is more to come because I’ll definitely be back!!"

You can bring your own design to work from or choose one of hers, making it stress-free and enjoyable. The walls are covered in her amazing mosaics but somehow that was inspiring not intimidating. "To say Adela is self taught, she is very knowledgeable about all aspects of mosaics and happily gave advice on tiles, adhesives and bases. Her class was relaxed and fun with plenty of broken crockery to choose from and lots of wooden shapes. Her art work that adorns her studio is fabulous. If you are new to mosaics or have already dabbled I recommend gathering some friends and booking up quickly......"
