I am a sculptor with over 30 years experience of sculpting stone. My current fine-art work is rooted in a career sculpting memorials and working in the historic architectural stonecarving trade. I have run regular stonecarving workshops for 17 years, and am a certified City&Guilds adult educator.

"This was my 5th time on Lucy's stone carving course. I came with an ambitious project in mind and once again her clear guidance and tuition enabled me to achieve something close to my vision. The three day course passed very quickly and we were well looked after - excellent tuition, good food and a companionable working environment. Highly recommended."

"What a fantastic set up - small class with a very knowledgeable and pleasant tutor in Lucy. Well planned and executed making sure that each of us produced a finished piece of work by the end of the 3rd day - there was me and another newcomer in our group with a more experienced person also joining us - but everyone was well supported whether you needed a lot of support or just some gentle guidance. Lucy has a great set up here and even the lunches are great. I can't recommend this class enough."
