"I have just completed the beginners copper foil stained glass course with Brenda a most patient tutor, at Kingfisher Glass. I cannot recommend this course enough! I came away with a lovely finished piece of work that I am extremely proud of. I am looking forward to trying another course - Lead Stained Glass course. Brenda and her husband welcomed us into their beautiful home in the countryside, and provided refreshments - tea, coffee, lunch, plus cake with our preferred drink in the afternoon. A very relaxed atmosphere, whilst producing lovely work, thank you Brenda!"

Brenda has a huge amount of knowledge and experience which she is generously willing to share and inspire with her students. "I was unable to attend Day One sadly due to family problems but I cut my own glass and attended on Day 2. There were three other students attending. The resources were plentiful and we were guided through each stage. There was plenty of time and we could work at our own rate. I had some previous experience of working with lead but copper foiling was new to me. Brenda was very patient with us all especially our soldering which was a new experience for many. Brenda’s hubby made our lunch, some very exotic pizzas, these were delicious. We also had three drinks during the day and some much welcomed lemon cake. The outside garden area is beautiful and we were lucky to have perfect weather. Brenda has three dogs that roam around making the course feel very homely. I really enjoyed the day and produced a lovely panel. I would certainly attend future courses with Brenda. Really interested in glass painted panels which are fired."

"This course was our first attempt at Stained Glass. We were so pleased that we chose Kingfisher Glass. The venue was in beautiful surrounds and easy to find with the Sat Nav taking us straight to the door. Our two days with Brenda were so enjoyable. Brenda is a first class Tutor Her knowledge and patience was excellent. Brenda is a very friendly lady with a sense of humour which made us as beginners feel very much at ease. We had morning Coffee, lunch and afternoon tea and cake. We was very pleased with what we achieved, bringing home our treasured stained class pieces now hanging in our conservatory. I would definitely recommend Brenda and her courses."

"I have just returned from this course with Brenda and enjoyed every minute of it. Brenda is a very relaxed teacher giving you just enough background and demonstration's to allow you to develop your own designs. Over the 2 days I completed 4 separate pieces which I am proud of, despite being a complete beginner. We were also treated to a homecooked lunch on each day which was lovely. I would heartily recommend this course."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Set in an idyllic spot, even on wet November days! We had a grand time and were very well fed with homemade lunches. On top of that I created something rather lovely considering I'd not tried it before. I would definitely recommend Brenda's courses and I'm hoping to go on another one soon and learn a different technique."
