"I was looking forward to the workshop and it didn’t disappoint. Kendall explained the process and started us off with basic weaving, then supported us in choosing slightly more complicated patterns to try. A thoroughly enjoyable day that I would recommend to anyone thinking of trying loom weaving."
"We had a wonderful time with Kendall. She was kind and professional, letting us experiment with various yarns and helping us try new patterns.
I highly recommend it!"

"I came to this course as a complete beginner, not quite knowing what to expect, and I loved every minute of it. Kendall is a very good teacher and she patiently guided me through some of the basics, encouraging me to try different stitches. It was lovely to come away with a piece of weaving that I had done."
Kendall Clarke responded:
"Thank you Deborah! I’m really pleased you enjoyed the day. It was lovely having you in the class, and I was impressed at how quickly you took to weaving and produced a really nice piece of cloth. "
"I had a wonderful time at Kendall's natural plant dyeing workshop. As a complete beginner, I was quite clueless, but by the end I was excited to continue experimenting. Through-out the workshop I was ‘wowed’ by the magical things common plants can create.
Kendall's warm welcome and expert guidance were a real blessing. She was patient and answered questions, even when the answers were potentially obvious. This open attitude created a relaxed learning environment.
The hands-on approach of the workshop was fantastic. We all worked together, experimenting with different plant dyes and materials. Kendall explained the processes involved, and I was amazed by the colours we were able to achieve. She continuously reminded us of the importance of experimentation. And note keeping!
Kendall's knowledge and passion for natural dyeing were truly inspiring. As a weaver and artist herself, she was open when asked to share her fascinating creative journey, which added another dimension to the workshop.
By the end we left with detailed colour cards of the fibres and fabrics we had worked on in class, showcasing the effects of plant dyes on various fibres and how modification, post-dyeing could result in different colours.
This class has given me the confidence to continue experimenting and exploring natural dyeing on my own, in a safe way.
Overall, I highly recommend Kendall's natural plant dyeing workshop. It was a fun, informative, and inspiring experience."
