"Another super day course with Julie! I met some lovely people. The classes are small so you get plenty of help and advice from Julie to help develop your skills. The atmosphere in the class is a relaxed and positive one. The fact that equipment is provided when you first start is a real bonus . I am hooked on calligraphy after two day courses - which absolutely flew by - and am really looking forward to the next one I attend! Julie is friendly, welcoming, approachable and a really great teacher - so positive and constructive with her advice on how to improve skills. I am a complete novice but also saw how she worked with the very experienced people in the group, whose work was very impressive and gives a newbie something to aim for! I cannot recommend this course highly enough. Thank you for a fantastic day Julie!"

"Julie is a great tutor with amazing, inspiring talent. The group are lovely, friendly and helpful, sharing tips and advice. I was concerned initially joining an established course as a beginner but I was made to feel incredibly welcome. There is no pressure as everyone is at different levels and goes at their own pace. Zoom is brilliant and Julie's set up means you get a bird's eye view when she demonstrates. The flexibility is really helpful as you don't have to commit to booking a block of classes. It's a beautiful skill to learn and completely absorbing. I love the simplicity that all you need is pen, ink and paper."

"Book learning" can only take you so far so it was brilliant to be able to see how to form the letters, both capital and lowercase, and have some homework so I can put it all into practice. "I can thoroughly recommend this online workshop. Julie is an excellent teacher with a comfortable, friendly approach. She explains clearly how to form the letters, and with the camera focused on her writing, it is easy to follow her pen strokes. The session is quite informal and is well-paced, so there is a real sense of achievement at the end."
