Welcome 😃 I'm Jo Garden. I call myself a 'facilitator' as my joy is enabling people of any skill to achieve something they did not expect, plus have time away from the everyday stresses of normal life. My sculpture & slate mosaic workshops are broken down into small stages which result in amazing sculptures and works of art regardless of your artistic ability (honestly). If you purchase a kit, there is a full length video of me making the sculpture which you can watch as many times as you wish. If attending a workshop, my peaceful studio is tucked into the garden surrounded by trees and wildlife making it a very tranquil and stress busting. I run several workshops a month but am often booked up for months in advance. If you book a long way in the future, I do make contact if I have cancellations and can move you forward. "Amazing Hare Sculpture birthday present. Jo and Andy are so friendly and accommodating. We looked at the leaping hare sculpture at the start of the day and my husband and I both thought - no way in a million years will ours come out like the display hare. They both did, we are thrilled, the day is long but enjoyable as Jo leads you through the different stages, fuelled by lots of tea and coffee. Brilliant from start to finish, can’t recommend highly enough - thank you Jo and Andy"

"Had a wonderful day with Jo and Andy. Both made us feel very welcome and we all soon felt at ease. The stages of hare making were remarkably straightforward and Jo was at hand whenever we needed guidance or reassurance. "Just got back from Jo’s Hare sculpture day, what a day it was! From start to finish we instantly felt at home and relaxed, Jo has her classes down to a tee, just the right level of expert knowledge and information in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, she offers lots of help if needed or let’s you get on with it to create your masterpiece! We were so impressed with our hares and couldn’t believe what we had created. It is a very full on non stop day and we did feel exhausted by the end! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this class, I’d also say it’s great value too, all in all it’s a 10 star experience ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"This was an absolutey brilliant day from beginning to end - Jo's communication once the day was booked (a Christmas gift!), right the way through to the post day photo was excellent. She and her husband Andy, gave me the others I was joining a warm welcome before guiding us gently through the process of crafting our hares in a way that seemed to bring out the best in everyone participating. Jo and Andy were generous with their help, advice and encouragement - I felt as though they'd thought of everything we'd need both on the day and once we were back home (touch up paint, list of supplies and suppliers, etc.). I am super pleased with my hare and look forward to his taking up residence in our garden once he's fully 'cured'. I highly recommend the course and hope to persude my family to gift me a 2 day return trip next year! Thank you so much Jo and Andy."
