"My husband, brother in law, sister in law and myself spent a wonderful day making hares. My husband had booked the day as a birthday present for us all. Our hosts were faultless. Never ending cups of tea and coffee and biscuits. We took a picnic with us and were invited to eat in their kitchen, where they gladly heated what needed heating. The course itself was perfect. Great tuition in a lovely setting. Will definitely return. Thank you ?"

"I attended the Hare sculpture course in January. A warm welcome upon arrival in a well equipped modern Art studio in beautiful surroundings. The Tutor 'Jo' was very informative and supportive at every stage of the sculpture, which made me and other students feel confident and at ease. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it was a very pleasant experience, which I would be happy to recommend to anyone at any level. I am absolutely delighted with the Moon gazing hare sculpture I made, all thanks to Jo and her guidance."

"I so enjoyed my day. Jo is obviously very experienced and knows how to put you at your ease. The studio is well-equipped and comfortable. All materials there waiting by our places. Taken step by step through a really interesting course, lots of fun and extremely satisfying. Much encouragement, laughing, and copious refreshments. I am well pleased with my hare. Gorgeous location too. I'll be doing it again in 2020. Excellent value! Thank you Jo :)"

"What a fabulous day! Jo is a very warm and welcoming lady and her studio is lovely. I had such a great day and brought home a leaping hare that I am very proud of! I would highly recommend this workshop, very well organised with all materials supplied and copious amounts of tea, coffee, biscuits and hula hoops ?"

Jo gives great instruction, positivity and keeps things moving to create your sculpture. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and have been inspired to try the process at home."

"Jo is an enthusiastic & competent teacher very patient with absolute beginners like me! The location was lovely and everyone was friendly and supportive. I never thought I could create something artistic but Hepworth the Hare will take pride of place at home. My friends are planning to book on a course next spring and I will be back ! "Had a lovely day yesterday on the one day Hare Workshop. Jo is a very patient teacher and full of encouragement for a total beginner! Jo leads you through each step with clear instruction and demonstration and provides lots of help when needed. A thoroughly enjoyable day, meeting new people and returning home with a sculpture I thought would have been well beyond my capabilities. I would love to do it again."

Jo is an excellent tutor very patient and guides you through the project so well that everyone comes away with a really impressive hare even without any prior experience or skill. The environment is lovely and Jo and Andy are both so friendly and welcoming (Tula and Mia are gorgeous too). The information you get prior to the workshop is clear and informative and the day itself is very well organised. I would thoroughly recommend this workshop."

"I treated myself and my husband Jeff to this one day course for our 19th anniversary (which is bronze, well only painted bronze but looks so good). Jo really is a brilliant, clear and friendly tutor who guided a completely non creative Jeff into a great hare artist ! We had a fantastic day, the dogs are so friendly and the studio is modern and bright. I recommend this day to everyone and I will send a few friends and family on it for unique Christmas and birthday gifts. Can’t wait to return and have started saving for a 2 day course."

"Without doubt one of the best courses I have ever been on and highly recommended. Jo's home and studio is beautiful and she is warm, welcoming and friendly - plus a great tutor too! She is brilliant at explaining what will happen, showing you what to do in bite size chunks and then encouraging you to do the work with the bare minimum of help. I never thought I would turn a basic wire skeleton into such a lovely piece of art which has a memento of my late mum enclosed inside. It will forever have a special place in my garden. All six of us were total beginners and we all did incredibly well. Would definitely be happy to go back and make something else another time. Thanks Jo (and Andy, Tula and Mia)."

"Thoroughly enjoyable day. Jo was friendly and welcoming and provided easy to follow instructions and modelling. Everything was provided so all we brought was ourselves and some lunch. I had great fun and lots of laughs with friends as we made our hares. Definitely will do this again as came away with a hare to give mum for Christmas and now want to make one to keep for myself."

"What a brilliant day! I have never attempted anything like this before and believed I didn’t have a flair for this type of art. Jo was a great instructor and with her step by step guide she explained and showed us the individual processes to achieve a good-looking hare! The modern studio we worked in was lovely, bright and airy with beautiful views overlooking the garden and fields. A great day out whereby you can use your creative talents or in my case, learn a new skill."

"What a fabulous day in a fabulous setting. I really never expected to leave with such a wonderful hare that I am proud to display as I had told Jo, our teacher that she would have her work cut out with me!!! It is such a simple but effective technique that you can’t go wrong with. Jo was a great teacher, keeping an eye on us all, correcting us if needed but she will only give you as much or as little help as you want. The art studio is set in a wonderful and beautiful garden and Jo made us all feel so welcome."

"The hare sculpture day was part of my mini-hen weekend. I wanted the weekend to leave us with a reminder (apart from Prosecco overload!), and wow what a result! We now all have our own funky hares as we decided to go a bit crazy with the designs – mine is called Beyonce as she has a rather generous posterior! I can’t wait to show her off! We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was so relaxing and fun. A great day out – I would definitely recommend it and Jo is a lovely teacher!"
