"We LOVED our course with Jo!! I am delighted to say that I have found my passion through Jo's teaching! We learnt so much in such a short time, as Jo had previously been in touch with us to discuss what we wanted to sculpt and communicated with us seamlessly to ensure that she would have all the materials ready for our arrival. Jo is incredibly professional, talented and patient! She supported our wild ideas and helped us create magic. From the moment we arrived, Jo had everything set up. The two day course was small (only 4 of us), which was perfect as it meant that we all had so much of her attention and also learnt from what she did with everyone else. Fabulous garden, wonderful wee dogs and very helpful and handy Andy!! If you only do one sculpture course, then absolutely do this one! I wouldn't settle for a one day course though... the two day is a must! Thanks Jo and Andy! You are a dream team and I am so grateful for what you have taught me and so excited about my new path of sculpting! Min :)"

"I had a fantastic day sitting side by side with my best friend, making a leaping hare! Jo was a superb tutor - giving clear and simple instructions, happy to repeat them when I wasn't listening(!) and showing us step-by-step how to create our individual sculptures. It was a wonderful experience, being "allowed" to make art again and encouraged to do so! Jo is a fabulous facilitator, appearing from nowhere with fresh paper for the tables, and bowls of clean water, brewing as much tea and coffee as you wish and always at hand to help and assist if we needed her. Beautiful studio set in very tranquil gardens which were full of interesting sculptures made by Jo. I HIGHLY recommend you book a workshop with Jo - it is art for the soul. I'm delighted with my leaping hare!"

"Jo is a marvellous tutor. She guided us through the different stages and it was fantastic to see the hare sculpture emerge. Each one of our group created a different hare which reflected our personalities. I really enjoyed the day and hope to go back again."

"Had the most beautiful day making hares with Jo, she had the day planned perfectly. My sister has never made or even be able to draw stick men. With Jo's fabulous help and guidance she made a wonderful hare, she was totally shocked that she could create something so arty. Such a well organised day in an amazing art room, set in even more amazing beautiful and tranquil setting. Highly recommended."

"I booked for myself and my two sisters to do this course and I couldn't have had a better time, we all came away with beautiful Hare sculptures. Jo made the entire process fun and easy and we all came away with new skills to have a go at home or we may come back and have a go at a bigger sculpture, Jo showed us photos some of her other students had made and they were awesome. I purchased one of the bigger hare kits, it has lots in it and I cant wait to have a go. The studio setting is fabulous and a walk around the large garden was worth the visit alone with lots of sculptures to see. It was a really fun day too. I highly recommend this course, thank you Jo we had a wonderful day and came home with sculptures we are all proud of."

"What a fantastic day! I absolutely loved the whole workshop, from start to finish. The setting is beautiful, Jo is a superb teacher, and I found the process totally absorbing and relaxing - and fun, too. I'm not particularly artistic, but I was delighted with the result and am more than happy to have 'Hercules' on display at home. I was even disappointed when we had finished, but I'm looking forward to getting the tin foil out to see if I can do anything vaguely successful with the kit I've brought home with me. Thanks also to Andy who played his part in making it a great day."

"Thank you so much Jo - this was by far one of the best workshops I’ve been on and the first time I have tried Scuplture in any form. Everything from start to finish was perfectly organised from your pre-workshop comms, your warm welcome, the stunning setting, and the amazing preparation and tuition to allow me to make the most amazing large sitting hare. The weather was completely on our side but I was blown away but how much I was able to achieve with your help in one day. This was a perfect antidote for a days escapism from a busy life and pandemic living. Thank you! I hope to be back!"

The hot weather did help with allowing super fast drying, but you kept up with each stage the remainder of the group completed making the smaller hares. Bravo ! Her demonstration video was brilliant at every stage and I can't say how delighted I am with my finished hare. He's a stunner !! I'm hoping to contact Jo to find out what else she does"

"My husband arranged for me to go on this course as a Christmas present (arranged several times due to Covid!) and I was so pleased to finally do it as it was brilliant! Jo’s expert planning and preparation meant that we all progressed through the different stages of making our hares at roughly the same rate and produced lovely finished products at the end of the day. We all felt very welcome in Jo’s studio, garden and home and the atmosphere was lovely. We also came away with all the information about what we had used in class and a small pot of paint and a brush for touching up - a very useful finishing touch. I can unreservedly recommend Jo’s class to any ability because of the preparation and structure of the day."

"I came away from this 1 day workshop absolutely buzzing, what a fabulous day Jo is a brilliant tutor, her style of teaching is very clever, she immediately puts you at ease and yet she gets you to do an incredible amount of work in a very short space of time- so by the end of the day you go home with your very own mini masterpiece. Jo and her husband turn their home over to the students for the day, both are very welcoming and their home is a peaceful haven - a joy to work in. Highly recommend this workshop to anyone whether you’re an experienced artist or a beginner."

"Bought this for my wife's birthday present. It was an incredible experience and Jo is the perfect blend of teacher and host. The course was amazing and would highly recommend for people of all experiences, I certainly have now art or craft ability but the final outcome were sculptures we are proud to display in our garden. Can't recommend more highly and will definitely be looking to go back with friends and family."

"Brilliant day making a Hare sculpture. I’d never done anything like this before & am not known for my artistic skills... It really was great fun, so rewarding to see ‘Bob’ come to life from twisted wire, foil & some messy stuff plus he looks like a hare too! Recommend this to anyone, Jo’s a lovely teacher just the right mix of helping & standing back, setting’s tranquil & welcoming, plenty of refreshments, a good way to spend a day!"

"Fantastic day making my hare sculpture , lovely surroundings and the workshop is light and airy with plenty of room to work . Met some lovely people to share the day with . Jo and her husband are very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away . Jo is a wonderful teacher and explained clearly every step for us to follow with great results. I think we were all surprised with our efforts and we all had a fabulous piece to take home . All in all an excellent experience and a fun day sculpting. Highly recommended."

"Attended a 1 day workshop with Jo yesterday. Fantastic day, Jo is an excellent teacher giving very clear hands on instruction at every stage of the process. Lovely bright studio to work in and lots of sculpture to be seen in the garden. Drinks, biscuits and ice-cream all freely given throughout the day. Very pleased with the results and will most likely book a 2 day workshop to make something bigger for the garden. Would thoroughly recommend ."

"Just spent an absolutely fabulous day with Jo in her beautiful garden studio making hares. My husband and I were holidaying with another couple and this was definitely the highlight of our holiday. Jo is a wonderful teacher, we all came home with unique hare sculptures that we are thrilled with. Can’t recommend highly enough. In fact we went back two days later and bought some more kits to do at home!"
