"This was my first Fused Glass Taster Course and certainly lived up to its name - Taster Course - in more ways than one. After a tasty and healthy breakfast supplied on arrival, Kim and Sharon described the various methods of using different forms of glass to construct whatever design idea each participant wanted to make. It was then learning by doing, to experience holding and cutting glass in the correct manner to form the various shapes required for the design. After a delicious light lunch, it was time to start on a second and third design. All the designs would then require a firing in a kiln which would be done at a later date. At the end of the session, we were treated to home made ginger cake and coffee or tea. In all, a comprehensive introduction to fused glass techniques which I would recommend to anyone who is interested in glass and wants to try something new."

"Brilliant course! Kim and Sharon were so helpful and there was plenty of inspiration but they were equally happy to support us in any projects had in mind. It's a small group class so plenty of help and tutoring. They gave us a warm welcome and delicious breakfast, lunch and homemade cake too!"

"It was like a day of pampering !… And the knowledge of Kim and Sharon is incredible. As retired potter, with a kiln, I am particularly interested in firing schedules for glass and Kim and Sharon were really helpful. Started with a breakfast of crêpe and croissant and delicious coffee. Then out to the workshop which is so well organised….. Followed by a talk on glass… and they taught me how to cut glass and then I did the real thing…. Which was very interesting ! I made five items, with lunch in the middle (a delicious cooked lunch)… And a lot of help from Kim and Sharon …. They let me do my own thing, but the minute I uttered a word, they were there to help and advise….and ended the day with another drink and delicious Victoria sponge cake. All credit to Kim and Sharon and I feel really good value for money. "

"A most enjoyable day, more than ‘just’ a days course. A real pamper day, from the moment I arrived to the moment I said goodbye. A super welcome, delicious food and patience, inspiration, artistic knowledge. Clean, warm and a super home and studio. Money well spent, I would recommend this course to anyone. I collected my pieces today and was thrilled how well they came out, thank you Kim and Sharon 😃"
