The preparation handouts were very clear and easy to follow, as were the instructions on the day, and Sheena was on hand at all points during the day to help and advise. I felt that I learned some more new techniques, which I have since made use of in another project. I also appreciated the fact that we were able to more or less complete the work during the day. A great day, which I would definitely recommend!"

"The Textile Textures Playtime course is such fun and very informative! I always look forward to the first of the month when the new material is sent out as I find it a real stimulus to creativity. The written tutorials, photos and videos are very well presented and easy to follow. In addition, the tutor, Sheena is very approachable and always willing to provide help as needed. The private Facebook group is very helpful too and has photos of many inspiring projects created by students. One of the things I like about the tutorials is the different ways in which the techniques taught can be applied – I have found the course to be so useful for giving me ideas for embellishments to add to the upcycled clothing that I create, and I am sure the course would be of benefit to anyone who creates with textiles in any form and did I mention it is FUN?? I highly recommend both this course and the lovely tutor, Sheena who is an excellent teacher."

"I booked a VIP 1day workshop on 15th September for a day of learning the skills and techniques of quilting. My VIP day did not disappoint! As there were only three of us (myself and two daughters), all totally new to quilting, we received lots of individual attention, so progressing through the techniques well. Sheena is a great teacher, explaining and demonstrating carefully. She’s also brilliant at ‘sorting’ it with humour, when things go wrong, which they did!!! (I had ‘wonky’ eyes as I’d had a cataract operation only ten days before!). I learned so much. I had never used triangles before and hoped to come away from the two days a better cutter and more accurate pieces.
