"Such a fun day out learning a new skill & relaxing , better that a day spa with a great reward to take home. I didn’t think I could make a stag ? head , well with the experienced guidance I was amazed by lunch time as the willow came to life. I know have an amazing trophy head made with love , that all my visitors are asking “where did you buy that” I’m beaming every time I say “I made it” Thank you and see you on the Bee ? workshop"

"Absolutely fantastic course from an inspired and experienced teacher. The whole experience was very well thought through, with differentiation built in depending on ability/ confidence. I felt fully supported through the whole process and came out with a fantastic looking log basket and a sense of real achievement. It has inspired me to continue my learning journey in working with willow and will no doubt return for some more training at some point."

"Absolutely loved the 2 day bag making course. Cathy lets people go at their own pace as and when needed. She is excellent at sharing her knowledge and giving hints and tips as you go along. My relatives are really impressed with my bag and it will last for years and years. I've always been a craft person and this has opened up my world being able to use leather work techniques on different fabrics and papers."

As a complete beginner, at the end of day one I wondered how any of us would ever come away with a basket worth having, yet by the end of day two, like magic, we each had a log basket to be really proud of! The course was well planned and paced and Joe, as well as being a lovely person, is such a good teacher. She explained everything so well and so simply, yet not in the slightest bit patronising, just encouraging, reassuring and very complimentary about all our efforts. Thank you Joe, you've certainly kindled a little fire..."

"A really great course. A room of people who had never made baskets before, yet after two days we had all created something beautiful. "Sorry did not get as much as I had hoped for from this course. Would have liked a lot more teaching and ideas on techniques . There were only 3 of us so could have been prime opportunity for some great teaching of techniques. Needed more tools between us as were sharing basic cutters and more resources were needed to make prints from. If I had known before I would have been more than happy to bring more objects to make prints from. I am a hardy northern gal, but it was cold in the work space too. hope this is useful."

"Loved it! First time doing Mosaic and both my mum & I managed to make 3 house numbers in our day, Christmas pressies sorted! It really was torture to have to stop! The cellar proved a treasure trove of extra bits & pieces of broken bits, which I preferred to the factory squares we had to begin with. Laura was great, let us get on with it but there when we needed her. Loved it, and would love to do it all again!"

I was quite nervous working with glass, but Laura was really patient and after a while of practicing with cheap clear glass I felt much more confident working on my final piece. A most enjoyable weekend, I was really impressed with my results."
