"I thoroughly enjoyed Melanie's felted pictures workshop. I'd done a bit of wet and needle felting before (you don't need previous experience for this workshop) but I was keen to learn more and the workshop didn't disappoint. Melanie is warm and welcoming, and an excellent and encouraging teacher. We had access to a fantastic range of materials and were able to take a few bits and pieces away with us to continue working on our pictures at home if we wanted to. Afterwards Melanie sent a link to detailed instructions - and she kept us supplied with tea coffee and cake during the workshop which was much appreciated! If you fancy a relaxing and creative day I'd highly recommend the workshop"

"Glass fusing workshop. Took my mum for a Mother’s Day treat. It was good fun learning a new skill or two. Melanie Louise ran a very informative, relaxed day long workshop - with biscuits, cake, tea and coffee - not to mention all glass, embellishments etc. A very enjoyable experience!"

"Booked this for my Mom and I as a birthday treat for myself and we had the most wonderful experience. The course was very reasonably priced and the little sweet treats were a lovely touch. The instructions from Melanie were clear and her knowledge throughout was fantastic, she was incredibly patient with us! "We had an amazing day, loved every minute. It was the most interesting and addictive craft day that I have ever taken part in. We were given wonderful instructions and able to produce pieces that were designed from our own imaginations which gave us a wonderful sense of achievement. Melanie was a really good teacher and made us beginners feel confident that we could produce something to be proud of. We are having trouble containing our excitement waiting to see our finished pieces and we are planning to come back and do another course in the not too distant future. And the constant supply of tea, coffee and cakes was a lovely touch so thank you for a fabulous day Melanie and hopefully we will be back for more very soon."

"I attended the fused glass lantern course last Sunday morning with my friend. We had a lovely time, Melanie was very helpful, and provided plenty of inspiration, as well as making sure we had plenty of refreshments. This was our second class, we attended a class before Christmas which we really enjoyed, and so we booked again. After the class we went to Hebden Bridge Sunday market, where there were some lovely goodies on offer including focaccia and empanadas, cakes, pies, handicrafts, all sort. So tea sorted for the next few days, and a great day out!"

"I had the fused glass bowl experience bought as a present from my children. I had an absolutely fantastic time. Melanie was brilliant at explaining the way it worked and all the processes etc. and she was very supportive in making sure I would get the best results possible. She didn’t rush anyone and as a consequence the afternoon ran over, but there was no pressure for anyone to rush the jewellery pieces, which are made at the end. She also made sure we had lots of fresh coffee and cakes to keep us going. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this experience and I am hoping to go again and maybe try the wave glass one next time. Absolutely brilliant Melanie, thank you."

"We absolutely loved this course! Melanie is so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable in the art of glass fusing as well as other art and craft techniques. We had a fantastic and relaxing Sunday morning course and the time flew as we were enjoying every minute. Melanie provided brilliant advice to get the best out of our session whilst also keeping us topped up with endless fresh coffee and other goodies. As we lived quite far away Melanie also offered to send our fused glass items onto us (paid registered post by us obviously) which was another lovely gesture. The postie delivered our items this morning and we sat in bed opening each item like it was Christmas again! We put our lanterns together, added candles and now waiting till the evening to get their full effects. Will definitely look to come again!!!"

"I came with my best friend for a 40th bday gift -it was such a wonderful relaxing way to spend a few hours. Melanie was superb, very friendly and helpful and explained the procedure very well. She also kept the hot drinks and cake/snacks coming throughout the session. We were absolute beginners to working with glass and we did fine. The workshop is bright and well ventilated and there was plenty of space and resources available. We never felt rushed and we felt so relaxed after the session.
