"I attended the Stained Glass Workshop recently. I attended with my friend as a birthday gift for her, and we were both a totally beginner. The workshop is very easy to find, we travelled by train to Starbeck. The workshop was lovely, right from the start we were welcomed by Caryl. There was a group of 5 of us for the workshop. Everyone was so very friendly and we all had a lovely day. Caryl was a great teacher, and worked at good pace. Always very patient and there to help when needed. Caryl kept us well supplied with drinks and lunch was delicious. I created some lovely Angels and a star. Thank you so much for such a lovely enjoyable day x"

"Being a complete novice, Caryl did a first class job in explaining and demonstrating the tools and techniques. The whole process was broken down into stages and she ensured each of the four attendees were familiar with what was required. At the end of the course I came away with a piece of work with which I am delighted. Caryl's training style is excellent as were the facilities and goods provided. All in all, a great weekend. "As an ex teacher and textile artist I can really confirm that this is an excellent course for anyone to take. Caryl’s work is outstanding , added to that she has ability to pass on her knowledge in easy stages , making all her students feel confident in the stained glass window process . Carly is also very aware when someone needs extra help, a well run workshop and great fun too. Lovely light lunch and copious cups of coffee and tea available if required . Good working space and all the equipment that you may need"
