"A very enjoyable day, with a beautiful lampshade to take home. Had a lovely relaxing few hours on the Cyanotype lampshade-making course with Bridget, in her cosy house. Lots of clear friendly instruction and inspiration from Bridget's array of lampshade and cushion creations. Highly recommend."

"The course was informative but shorter than the time allowed. I think it would be appropriate always to advise people that the course is taking place in a private house and that there are no other participants. The teacher was knowledgeable and I was pleased with the results. I was offered a drink, but other than that it was rather awkward being in a private house with no other participants."

"I did inform Sarah that it was just her attending as that was in answer to her question about the starting time the previous day, so she had the opportunity to say something then. Because it was only her attending she had my undivided attention so all her questions were answered fully and dealt with clearly , but of course it made the workshop shorter just being one person. It was of course in my studio and home space , I think it does say that in the information provided and my partner was here as well for some of the time. I am sorry Sarah felt awkward being on her own. She could always arrange to come with a friend in the future when booking a workshop. I only take small numbers of one or two people as the Lampshade making takes up a lot of room, which it also states in the information. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed Bridget's Cyanotype day and came home with two stunning lampshades, lovely cushion and a million ides. Bridget is a very competent and patient tutor and clearly has thought of everything. I will look forward to planning another trip as its such an uplifting day in itself, to see so many lovely examples of what is possible. Lovely lunch and chatter in the sunshine and will definitely consider giving the experience to friends for birthdays or Christmas. Thankyou for sharing such a lovely skill Bridget!"

"I took my mother along as a Mother's Day present. It was a wonderful day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Bridget's teaching encouraged us to be adventurous and we were pleasantly surprised by our efforts. The lunch of homemade soup, bread and cake was delicious.I'd definitely like to return."

"We all had a wonderful spent learning the techniques of sun printing. Bridget initially gave us a demonstration and then we were given lots of freedom to create the kind of prints we individually preferred. Bridget was on hand with lots of guidance and inspiration progressing us from printing on paper to material. The weather was wet and windy which made working in natural sun light outside impossible but we used lamps indoors and it did not seem to hamper us all from creating some really lovely pieces to take away with us. We all agreed we would love to do more courses with Bridget and will be signing up for silk painting in the Spring. Two of us travelled from Wiltshire and it was well worth it. A tasty lunch was provided. Thanks again Bridget."
