"Really good workshop. I have previously done their soap and skincare workshop and returned for more. This time face creams. As before, Nic and Ben were super friendly and great hosts, supplying endless tea and biscuits. In addition, the variety and choice of ingredients for your creams is large, and you are given time and guidance to make decisions. Nothing is rushed but still the time flies when you are having fun. Really recommend this workshop for people and groups interested."

"I had such a wonderful morning with Ben and Nicola, learning about and making beautiful soaps. They started with an introductory slide show explaining the 'science' of the process and quickly started to look at oils and recipes for our personalised creations. Instructions were clear, and support helpful and informative. The whole experience was more simple than I had anticipated and was such great fun. I would thoroughly recommend this course and I will certainly be back with family and friends."

"My sister, niece and I joined three others yesterday for a fabulous morning on this course. An excellent short introduction to our skins and how they work and then we were on to mixing our ingredients for the body creams. Great fun smelling all the essential oils to see which ones we liked best. Everything was clearly explained, all the equipment was ready for us to use and Nic and Ben were there throughout to help us and explain things. After the body cream we all had a go at some face cream which was a slightly different recipe. I can't recommend this course enough, it was informative, fun and we all came home with beautiful and aromatic creams. And there was plenty of coffee and biscuits throughout the morning. Thanks Nic and Ben, a truly fun morning."

A lovely, relaxed, knowledgeable couple, who seamlessly taught 9 people, complete beginners, to make a bar of delicious soap. Fabulous village setting. The Village Hall was perfect, lots of room, warm, but cosy too. A wide range of herbal teas with endless cookies for refreshments. Parking. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has even toyed with the idea of making soap, its so enjoyable! Donna"

"I did the Natural Skincare and Soap workshop all in a day. Skincare in the morning and soap in the afternoon. The Village hall venue was a great space for hosting the workshop. Nic gives an informative introduction in the beginning which gives you knowledge you will use for the rest of the day when making your skincare and soaps. The skincare workshop has a lot of options to get creative and make the things you want. This was followed by a delicious lunch with Nic and Ben who are great hosts. Making soap in the afternoon was the most fun and both Nic and Ben are very attentive and helpful to make sure everything goes smoothly. They are both happy to answer as many questions as you have and since the workshop, I have been making soap at home and Nic cannot be more helpful via email with advice. Whether you are looking for a fun day to try something new and be inspired or want to start making your own products/soap but don't know where to start, this workshop is suitable for everyone."

"I came on Sunday 27th with my Mum, sister and 14 year old neice. Nic and Ben are warm and welcoming hosts and the setting/views were amazing!! This course is excellent for the seasoned crafter or (more like our group) a family group that wanted to spend time together, doing something fun with likeminded people! Hosts explain everything and are always on hand to advise. Fab course!!"

"The village hall worked very well as the venue for the soap making workshop in January. Nicolas’s intro talk was pitched well giving a reassuring scientific context to the process, just enough to make you feel they know what they are doing. Ben worked hard to keep the process moving for the 9 of us. It was a busy, enjoyable 3 hours. Went home pleased with my soap. I have now booked on to another of their workshops."

"I had a fantastic time learning about and making my own soap. It was fascinating to learn about blending scents and to see the alchemy of turning the base ingredients into deliciously scented soap. Nic explained both the science and the history of soap making and then supported and guided us all in making our soap. It was great to bring home and then use my very own soap. I would recommend this workshop to anyone interested in learning a new skill that's a bit different."
