Instructor was very friendly, patient and professional, the studio was a beautiful, welcoming place, teaching was easy to follow and she brought home the weaving that she had created. She loved it so much she has asked to go back for a full day's course next time. So worth the cost- a really great experience, thank you."

"I had a really enjoyable day with Amanda. I have never done any Weaving before and was a little apprehensive that i wouldn't "get it" . Amanda was so helpful and explained everything really well. She gave a short introduction to the history behind this sort of weaving and the inception of the looms before demonstrating the various techniques. The choice of thread colours and "treasures" made me feel like a kid in a sweet shop! I am so pleased with my finished piece which I am turning into a hanging for my craft room wall. If you are on any doubt about whether you have the ability to do this, don't as I guarantee you will have a super day and a piece of weaving to be proud of. Thank you Amanda 😊 🙏 "

The environment is conducive to learning and Amanda gave a comprehensive overview of this type of weaving and encouraged us to experiment even though we were all beginners. I came away with an unusual piece of cloth. The venue is centrally located , easy to find, 3 hrs free parking in most of car parks, if going on a Saturday go bit before 10 to be ahead of shoppers. A creative and enjoyable morning. Thank you. "

"I attended the Saori 2 Day Beginners Course. My previous experience of weaving was from primary school 65 years ago! We were welcomed into a calm space with a ‘sweet shop’ of threads and beads to inspire us. Amanda introduced us to the principles of Saori weaving in a totally unthreatening way. We were soon on the looms and exploring the techniques we’d been introduced to. Amanda skilfully assisting and encouraging as required. The 2 days went far too quickly and I for one was left wanting more. I’ve found myself looking at colour and texture around me more observantly I was seduced by the bright colours of the threads available but would now love to try something in muted shades as seen in Amanda’s fabulous examples. Thank you Amanda for your patience and inspiration."
