"I spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Amina in her garden studio. I am an absolute beginner in watercolour painting and Amina was very patient with me and by the end of the session I had a wonderful watercolour painting of a Kingfisher. It was all very relaxing and the icing on the cake was having Toby, Aminas Jack Russell, curled up on my lap! I would thoroughly recommend this experience😊"

"What a fantastic afternoon myself and friend had at Amina’s lovely studio. Amina is a very patient teacher and not forgetting Toby the lovely resident Jack Russell who is so friendly and is just in search of a lap to sit on. We both came out with a wonderful painting of a highland cow which will take pride of place on one of the walls in my house. We will definitely be back to try out one of Amina’s other art courses. 😀"

"Super super welcoming and kind tutor. Very friendly dog, as a result of which my daughter who has autism and ADHD instantly relaxed.❤️ Lovely bright and airy studio space. Free parking available close by. Beautiful artwork is displayed around the studio. Amina is a patient and considerate teacher. There was lovely background music playing which made it very relaxing. Amina is well organised and had enough art equipment for us. We learnt some fantastic techniques and are super proud and happy with the work we produced. Amina informed us of local historic venues which we were able to take advantage of after the batik session. It made for a super pleasant day😊"

"Chris and I loved our Valentine's Watercolour session with Amina. We arrived to a beautifully decorated studio with red hearts and lit candles on the tables and a background of wonderful, calming, quiet classical music to create an atmosphere of warmth and welcome. Amina took us through the basics of Watercolour so we could create a suitable background for a simple piece of our choosing to paint or draw over this. Toby was in charge of keeping the clients in suitable mood by lying quietly on the back of Chris's chair and we thoroughly enjoyed our painting session particularly as we were kept suitably recharged with Prosecco and Chocolates as we went along. If not before we may well be back for next 14th Feb as we can't imagine a nicer and more imaginative way to spend St Valentines Day! Thank you Amina we had a lovely time."

"I booked this course as a birthday gift for my Dad, we were made very welcome right from the start, Amina is wonderful and explains everything before you get to have a go yourselves. We both had a fantastic morning experimenting with paint techniques and finishing off with delicious scones with jam and cream and a superb cafetière of coffee in a delightful setting with bird song filtering through from the garden . "What a fabulous workshop! Amina instantly made us feel welcome and comfortable in the calm, purposeful environment. With a small group of three, Amina put us all at ease regardless of our levels of experience and ensured that we had the taste of success at every opportunity. Amina is a fabulous teacher and encouraged us all to be creative and put our new found skills to use in our final pieces. A huge winner for me was that Amina made a great cup of tea! The cream tea and scones at the end of the workshop were delicious, beautifully presented and the portions were generous. We will definitely be returning for another workshop in the future."

"My partner booked an art session with a cream tea for myself and our daughter. Amina contacted us beforehand to ask what kind of art piece we wanted to create. When we arrived Amina was lovely and welcoming. The art studio is a fantastic space in a quiet courtyard. We both really enjoyed the day; Amina gave us just the right amount of help and support which still allowed us free expression. We are both very happy with the pictures that we created and I’m sure we will be booking some more sessions soon. "

"My friend and I wanted to reconnect with art and found this class on line. It was a wonderful 2 hours learning art techniques in a very relaxing studio. We not only managed to produce a lovely picture, it also felt we had a mindfulness session of unwinding from the daily stresses of work. Amina was very engaging and supportive to help us learn and feel relaxed, she worked at our pace and gave us tips as we moved along the session. The room was spacious with lovely smells of homemade scones to finish off the session. Loved the whole experience and we will be back for more. Big thanks Amina :)"

"A wonderful way to spend an afternoon -learning new skills. Amina’s studio is the perfect setting for the course. The materials she provided were all of a high quality as was the tuition. Amina introduced the skills calmly and in easy to manage stages. Once we had built a basic skill set we all produced a lovely silver birch mixed media piece. Finally we were given time to create our own piece of work using the acquired skills. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. I look forward to joining another course in the future."

"My husband and I were warmly met by Amina and over a cup of coffee we chatted telling Amina it was over 40 years ago since I had picked up a paint brush (O level Art) and Neil only painted the walls at home! The studio has lots of natural light and is perfect for painting! The room was set up ready for us and other participants with all the materials we needed for the day. We were shown some watercolour painting techniques by Amina who explained as she went along but was more than happy for any questions from us and then we had a go ourselves! We then went onto painting a kingfisher using what we’d learnt but Amina was completely on hand to assist us whilst also making more coffees for us. After our relaxed lunch we were keen to start on the hare and had free reign, again with Amina on hand. It was so relaxing; I honestly don’t think we’ve stayed sat down like that for years! We couldn’t believe how quickly the time went and we had to get back on the road, with our “master pieces”. We’d love to return but as we’re from Wales it’s a long way to go back. However, we do plan to visit the area again and when we do, we’ll definitely book another class. We’d recommend the class to anyone and everyone from beginners onwards as we felt comfortable and the tuition was at our pace. Thanks for a lovely time. Neil & Karyn"
