Join me for a nature inspired wire drawing workshop where we’ll take inspiration from real leaves to draw with wire to create beautiful wire art to hang on your wall. Shown here are just a few examples of how you might create a composition from your wire leaf drawings, I will guide you to create your own arrangement, or you can take inspiration from mine. It’s hard to capture in photos, but this wire wall art is slightly 3D which brings the wire drawings to life. Any wire drawings you create, but don’t use in your finished piece (or go onto create after the workshop) could be used to embellish greeting cards, be added to mixed media collages or textiles, or with the addition of some ribbon, made into a hanging decoration. This workshop is beginner friendly, no experience of working with wire is needed.
What's included in the price?
- All wire. - One 30cm x 30cm square canvas frame. - Use of tools is included. - I will provide plenty of inspiration, but you are also welcome to bring along your own leaves from your garden too. - Hot drinks and homemade cake.
