We're popping up at Flaura Rose in Ouseburn, Newcastle with this Festive Foliage Mini Wire Wreath workshop on Saturday 9th November from 14:00 - 17:00. Gather you pals for some crafty time before Christmas and deck those walls with our Festive Foliage Wreath. Crafted using wire and beads, they'll last longer than your traditional wreath too. This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their own mini wire and beaded wreath decoration (measure approx. 10cm diameter). During this workshop you'll learn techniques such as wire forming, wrapping and beading to create 1 or 2 mini wreaths, depending upon skill level. During this workshop soft refreshments and festive treats will be provided. BYOB if you wish! Places are limited to ten people on this workshop to allow individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist with each project.

Use of required equipment/tools. All materials to make; x1/2 wire wreath baubles. On hand experienced tutor to instruct and guide you through the course. Tea/coffee & festive biscuits/cakes.

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
