Willow weaving - Oval backpack
Description
This two day course with Rachel Evans will lead you through the process of weaving an oval shaped backpack for carrying all those essential items when out in the woods or for collecting woody treasures. You will be making an oval shaped base and staking it up and weaving the sides with beautiful coloured willows. The stakes will then be woven at the top to create a border. Finally, straps will be added. There will be a choice of leather or textile straps. Could you please indicate if you would like leather or textile straps when booking. Please note this course is only suitable for people who have woven a basket before.
