Greenwood Turning - End Grain Cups
Description
Learn to turn end grain cups on a pole lathe. This two-day workshop is suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced pole lathe turners. Over two days, you will learn how to select and prepare wood for cup blanks and then focus on learning techniques to turn end grain items on the pole lathe. You will be able to complete several cups over the duration of the course and have time to study different forms and explore the many possibilities of end grain turning. The course will be led by internationally recognised pole lathe turner Owen Thomas, a professional greenwood worker and teacher.
