Description

Turning plates on a pole lathe. This two day workshop is suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced pole lathe turners. On day one of the class, you will begin to learn how to source and prepare wood for plate turning and then the best practical techniques to turn a plate on a pole lathe. Once you have turned your first plate, you will spend the rest of the course improving your technique with further plate turning and learning about design, form and tool care.
