Willow weaving - log basket
Description
On this two-day course Rachel Evans will guide you through the process of making a fantastic log basket with two handles. You will learn how to make a round base, choose stakes and stake up, then learn a weave called waling to make the main body of the basket. You will be using home-grown, colourful willows from Rachel’s own willow bed and some Somerset willow.
