Designed exclusively for Nettlecombe Craft School, this beginner-friendly workshop introduces you to the beautiful art of basketmaking. Craft your very own versatile shoulder basket – perfect for foraging, a solo picnic, or as an everyday carry-all that adds a unique, handmade touch to any outfit! What You’ll Create: Morning: Start with the foundation, weaving the base and structure to build a sturdy basket. Afternoon: Complete the side weave, add a decorative border, and finish off with a comfortable canvas shoulder strap. Please note: Basketmaking is a rewarding yet physically engaging craft, requiring some hand strength and focus. If you love working with your hands and enjoy a creative challenge, this workshop is for you! All materials and tools are included.
