The Where Inspiration Blooms team have 8 secondary school kids between us, varying in age from 11 to 17. We are increasingly aware of how often this age group are overlooked when it comes to arts and craft workshops so for Autumn 2024 we will be running a monthly Friday night class specifically designed for teens. Our hope is that it really takes off so that from January 2025 we can run more classes for these guys. Our new Collection of teen workshops have been specifically created for young adults in school years 7 and above. In this 90 minute jam-packed workshop, Jules and Caroline will take your teen through the candle making process step-by-step. They will learn about the different kinds of wax, melting the wax, adding different fragrance oils and will finish up with pouring 2 of their own stand-alone candles or glass jars, as well as making some tea lights. All materials will be provided and no previous experience is necessary at all. NB candles take a while to set so any candles that have not fully set by the end of the session, can be collected from The Studio on a different day or taken carefully home to set and cure there.
