Description
Learn how to use basic wood carving tools to carve a wooden spoon. Over the course of the day participants will learn how to safely use an axe, crook knife and carving knife, how to select green wood suitable for carving and how to design a long lasting spoon. Go home with a unique hand made spoon and the skills needed to continue your green woodworking journey. This course will be held under a large shelter but please come dressed for the weather as we will be outdoors for the whole day. No previous experience required.
