Resin River Charcuterie Board Workshop Part Two

X

Description

During the second part of the workshop, participants get to unleash their creativity by designing and pouring their resin charcuterie boards. They experiment with various colour combinations and techniques such as layering and swirling to achieve unique and personalised designs. The workshop environment fosters creativity and collaboration, with instructors offering personalised guidance and tips to help each participant achieve their desired outcome. Once the resin is cured during the second session, students will use power tools to learn how to finish their resin river charcuterie boards. This workshop will feature sanders, drum machines, router tables, and chop saws. Participants will have the chance to use Festool power tools and will be taught the fundamentals of finishing epoxy resin work. The Rivershops’ resin charcuterie board workshop not only provides a platform for artistic expression but also offers a social and relaxing experience. The workshops are designed to be enjoyable and accessible for all skill levels, making it an excellent activity for friends, family, or solo participants looking to learn a new craft. Each participant leaves with a beautiful, handcrafted charcuterie board and a sense of accomplishment, having gained new skills and memories from the experience. This workshop is a perfect blend of education, creativity, and fun, making it a popular choice for those looking to explore the world of resin art. Richard has been teaching this intro class since 2018 after realising that all the challenges of working with epoxy resin were bound to be frustrating aspiring makers around the world as much as they were for him. After realising that working with epoxy resin was actually quite easy once you knew a few simple tricks and the basic principles, he started inviting you to join him in the workshop to master the tricks of the trade for yourself.
