"We had a brilliant day on the course and we were all really pleased with our finished cats! Jo taught five absolute beginners how to create dogs and cats with kindness and patience, plenty of brews and biscuits, and was just the right mix of knowing when we needed help and letting us get on with things when 'in the zone'! I really enjoyed the day, my mum and 9 year old did too and I thoroughly recommend!"

"My friend and I had a wonderful day with Jo making felted replicas of our 2 dogs. She was such an excellent teacher asking us all along the way about how we wanted the pace of learning to be in order to suit us best. She is clearly very skilled and knowledgeable as well as immensely patient. She very kindly did this date as an additional session and as there were just the two of us, allowed us to bring our dogs along with us. I would absolutely recommend this course either as a one off for fun or as a way into further felting."

"Really enjoyed the felting course with Jo. She was a fabulous teacher - very patient and encouraging. Me and my friend hadn’t ever done felting before the course but by the end of it we had made ourselves little replicas of our own dogs (almost !) 😊 The day was set at our pace, with a very relaxed atmosphere in a lovely building. Jo has so much experience and the credentials to match, and as expected her work is pretty spectacular. Such a nice person who is incredibly talented. Highly recommend any course run by Jo. "I went along to the needle felting cats and dogs course as a complete novice in February 2024. The studio is a fabulous Aladdins cave of craft in an incredible historic building. Josephine is so talented at her many fibre crafts and was super helpful and kind and guided us all so well in making our animals. I absolutely love the whole day and am proud of my dog as my first attempt at it. If you are looking for a fun course to do, this is the one. This is ideal and you would be hard pushed to find anybody with Josephine’s knowledge. I really loved it. Thank you so much. "

"The 3-hr session was the right length to obtain a taste of what needle-felting involves, learn the basic techniques and helpful dos and dont's. Jo is lovely, with a depth of knowledge and experience (very skilled herself, as beautiful examples of her work demonstrate), but very patient with beginners to this craft, no matter how ham-fisted. Despite my breaking three felting needles and producing a creature with a definite identity crisis, I really enjoyed myself and would love to try a different aspect of felting with Jo. Tea/coffee on tap in a lovely venue and very good value for money. "
